Excellence food and ambiance in the restaurant area. We came there in the lunch time and was welcome by a beautiful scenery and genuine hospitality. The taste of the food also excellent. Will come back with my family.

This hotel is beautiful and located partly surrounded by rice fields. I disagree with a review about it not being family friendly- it’s a luxury, boutique hotel go to Disney land if you want child friendly. In my opinion it is child friendly I took my child with me. We stayed in a villa with the private pool - which was the perfect temperature all day around and really clean- no smell of chlorine too. The hotel staff are so friendly, attentive, and professional, they are all well well presented too. Housekeeping were so accommodating and kind - we had a few lizards which they safely re-homed. They even would escort us to our villa on an evening when we got back late from Ubud town centre or excursions. I highly recommend this hotel to all. Also the hotel is only 10-15mins drive in a grab or Gojek to ubud centre and close to other excursion activities. Other than wildlife there was no noise it was tranquil and peaceful- we loved this. The restaurant staff were so polite and welcoming and able to accommodate our food and drink requests. In terms of value for money I think it’s on point.

We visited with our 2 and a half year old. We booked one of the villas which had a lovely view over the rice fields. After using the shower a couple of times, we noticed the water was not draining, however the hotel quickly fixed this for us. Thereafter there seemed to be this on/off sewage smell in the bathroom for some reason. Unfortunately our loungers by the pool were quite filthy with dirty footprints on them. It didn't look like they had been cleaned at all. I had to notify them of this and when we returned, it seemed as though they couldn't get the marks out but then covered the loungers in towels instead. This was a bit unfortunate as we paid that bit more for a luxury experience. Service was generally good, food was good (although still a bit expensive compared to other restaurants we visited). Service at breakfast was varied, sometimes we would be waiting a while to get someone to serve us. Breakfast was made to order but was quick to come out. We really enjoyed one of the smoothies on our first morning and tried to order it on multiple days thereafter, but they kept saying they didn't have the ingredients to make it. The egg dishes, dumpling bowl and the pancakes and waffles were delicious :). One big let down was the kids club - it smelt a bit in there, seemed a bit run down/dirty and quite frankly, a bit bare. It would benefit from having a good clean and some new toys, maybe a comfortable place to sit, a Tv perhaps, some music? It was unfortunate really as many other resorts offer really good kids rooms and this is really attractive for young families. It seems as though this room has been forgotten about. Overall we did enjoy our stay but we did find the hotel a bit further out and would perhaps stay a bit closer to the centre as the traffic can get really bad. Additionally, we felt the hotel could do better with their communication in the form of guest information - ie It would be useful if they kept a printed room service menu in the rooms (rather than asking you to go to the restaurant and scan a barcode) or keeping the times of breakfast, hotel facilities and general hotel information in the room. We felt we checked-in with very limited information. As mentioned, the kids room could also do with some attention.
