Our stay at Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and genuinely cared for by every single staff member. We stayed for three incredible days, and every moment exceeded our expectations. A very special thank you to Jasmine. She is incredibly professional, helpful, charming, and truly amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, and her kindness and warm hospitality made such a difference. She is a real asset to the Renaissance team. To everyone at the resort THANK YOU! The housekeeping team kept our room spotless and beautifully maintained every day. The buggy service was always there and super friendly, the customer service was exceptional, the yoga instructor is wonderful, and every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and warmth. The food was absolutely delicious, the facilities were stunning, and the breathtaking views made our stay even more memorable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel relaxed and at home. This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Absolutely outstanding stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The service throughout the hotel was excellent and made us feel truly welcome. The location is perfect, close to many attractions while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were fantastic, the food was delicious, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and overall quality of the experience. This was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. As Marriott Titanium members of 7 years with over 400 nights spent across various Marriott properties, my husband and I recently returned to the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa after a two-year absence. ​Like every traveler experiencing this property for the first time, the moment you step out of your vehicle, you are greeted by the warm smiles of the staff. Beyond them lies the grand, high-ceilinged lobby reflecting traditional Balinese architecture, opening up to a breathtaking, panoramic ocean view from atop the cliff. Immersing yourself in the spirit of Uluwatu while listening to the chorus of birds is a truly sensory experience. ​At the reception, we were welcomed by Salma, who brought incredible energy and bright smiles while perfectly anticipating and assisting with our needs. We were also greeted by Jasmine, who deeply touched us by providing highly professional assistance in fluent Korean. ​Following a tailored, meticulous, and genuinely warm check-in experience, we were guided to our room by the bell staff. In our room, a heartwarming welcome letter from Tina, the Director of Rooms, awaited us along with delicious welcome amenities to celebrate our return as Titanium members. ​During a month-long stay in Bali two years ago, we experienced numerous five-star properties, including the InterContinental Jimbaran, The Laguna (Nusa Dua Luxury Collection), Sofitel, and Mandapa (a Ritz-Carlton Reserve). While all of these properties offered top-tier service and captured the essence of Bali, nearly all of them—except for the Renaissance Uluwatu—had ants in the guest rooms. We understand that ants are native to Bali and a natural part of the tropical environment. However, perhaps due to the extensive use of stone finishes in its interior design, we did not encounter a single ant during this stay either. Of course, we know this is a direct result of the immense dedication and hard work of the housekeeping and pest control teams. ​We also enjoyed a highly sophisticated and romantic dinner at Claycraft, where our server, Winda, approached every guest with genuine kindness and delivered absolutely flawless service. ​For all of these reasons, when planning our return to Bali after two years, the Renaissance Uluwatu easily won our hearts over fierce competitors. This stay was nothing short of perfection, and we are already looking forward to our third visit. ​Thank you to the entire team. Sukyung Lee.

The Renaissance Bali Uluwatu is a good-quality resort with beautiful views, comfortable rooms and very good staff. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and well maintained, and the breakfast is also good. However, the hotel strongly feels like a large international chain, which takes away much of the charm and sense of place we were hoping for in Bali. Breakfast can also feel overcrowded, with far too many guests at the same time. The location is the biggest disadvantage. The hotel is far from almost everything, so transport is essential. As it is a large resort, the distance from the lobby to some of the rooms can also be surprisingly long. Overall, it is a comfortable and well-run hotel with good facilities and lovely views, but it lacks character and is not particularly convenient for exploring Uluwatu.
