It is a very small resort consisting of 11 rooms/suites. We stayed in a suite with a plunge pool – which I recommend considering the price difference between this type and type w/o pool. First time you visit the resort – you may experience doubts if you landed in the right hotel - once you see the entrance and also when seeing the reception. However, this all vanishes once you experience your room and surroundings. Our suite had a porch with table and chairs – plunge pool with a sundeck sofa – living room with nice furniture and big TV with good selection of channels – bedroom with king-size bed – big bath room divided in two sections. We had the option, every day, to enjoy afternoon tea (actually coffee) at the Ma Joly restaurant with a small selection of either pastry or fruit – supplementary there was a tray delivered to our room with a selection of cookies/chocolate. Also, every day our fridge would be filled with complimentary soft-drinks – 2 bottles of water, 2 juices, 1 coke and 1 sprite. As the hotel is small – there is no large breakfast menu, but you must choose between 4 or 5 set menus -this worked perfectly for us. Only suggestion for improvement is to offer, at least one glass of freshly squeezed orange juice – and not some diluted carton juice. There is plenty of room on either the beach, where the hotel has sundeck chairs and/or at the swimming pool also with sundeck chairs. There is no evening buffet at The Ma Joly restaurant. Only a la carte. The restaurant has a very high standards and price may appear in the high end. We tried a buffet on the neighboring hotel and – there is no doubts hat we prefer Ma Joly. The challenge(s) we faced during our stay were solved efficiently and with an excuse/explanation and big smile. If you want to experience city life – Kuta a only 20 minutes’ walk away – there is all the life/noise you try to escape in holidays 😊

“One of the best value propositions in Bali”

What a find! we booked it for just one night as it was close to the airport. talk about surprised - right on the beach, spacious and clean rooms in a beautiful setting. Restaurant looking over the beach with a wide menu and good quality food. The only negative is they did have a wedding on so it was a little noisy but the music finished by 11pm and there was no noise after that. Staff are really excellent here and were very proactive in offering help and assistance.

“Beautiful little hotel, would recommend!”

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our 16 day trip to Bali. The staff were friendly and welcoming, explaining all the amenities in our room and where to go for breakfast. The room was lovely with toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers and a mini bar all included in the room rate. Super clean and well kept, only thing that wasn’t great was the hot water... it wasn’t very hot at all! The food here is good, but I would recommend eating at local warungs to get a better deal. Pool is great, lovely and warm and well maintained. There are only 8 sunbeds around the pool which was fine for us because the hotel was quiet but I can imagine this being not too great when the hotel is busy. The beach is nice here too, again only a couple of sun beds though. We only stayed on the beach for about 15mins as we kept being offered bracelets and key rings and sarongs and everything else a Balinese lady can carry on her head (which is an awful lot!) Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!
