“Wonderful accommodation and location”

We had a great time, breakfast was delicious. Our room clean and spacious. We were close to pool. Very close to beach and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful

I love this hotel. Was my fourth time staying here, but first time in the family room. A few things didn’t do smoothly this time. The family room I booked had a seating area, but the room we got didn’t have it. I didn’t say anything because I knew the hotel was fully booked and there wouldn’t be anything that could be done, but it was quite disappointing not that have that seating area. I had also made a booking in advance for 4 of us to get spa treatments to celebrate my daughter’s birthday on the afternoon we arrived. Unfortunately when we went to get the treatments, only 2 staff were available and so 2 of us had to miss out, which was disappointing. I made the booking on bookingdotcom and was supposed to get 10% off food, but this didn’t seem to happen. But there was lots of good! The hotel is Balinese style and really pretty. The pool is lovely and perfect temperature. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The location is great! Being my daughter’s birthday, the bed was decorated with a beautiful birthday message and staff brought a cake in and sang happy birthday, which was special. There was also a mix up with being told pedicures were included in the spa treatment, but apparently they weren’t, but because it was the hotels mistake they kindly included it at no cost.

It’s budget friendly which is great, the rooms are presented well and the pool is lovely. You can hear everything everyone is doing, arguments, laughing etc. lying in bed and there’s all sorts of noises coming from different parts of the resort, tonnes of banging (no idea where from, puts you on edge). Theres a stray cat that is a resident that meowed loudly and scratched at my door. (Love cats so reminded me of home, he got bored and went to bother someone else!) The food tasted like it was heated from frozen, the bath and shower both had waterflow issues and it was either piping hot or cold. The door(s) are paper thin out of cheap wood. Sometimes the staff are unnecessarily nice to you and it feels forced. The Balinese massage in the spa was great. Theres the occasionally poo from stray dogs on the driveway and the business opposite kept trying to hawk custom. A fantastic shopping centre just a few minutes drive/ride away. No communication from the hotel at all when I emailed them to tell them my flight was being cancelled but they made up for it by offering me free transport to the airport. The driver for the half day tour was great and was happy to let me do my own thing., Front desk staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough Nothing near by apart from bars and spas unless you are willing to take taxis or hire a car The whole of Bali is designed to extract money from tourists as quick as possible. It’s still very much a third world country.
