The hotel enjoys a truly beautiful location, surrounded by lush tropical nature and offering a peaceful atmosphere that immediately helps you unwind. While the property itself is showing its age and would certainly benefit from renovation, it has a unique charm and authenticity that newer resorts often lack. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exceptional hospitality. Unfortunately, during our stay we became seriously ill and required medical assistance. The hotel manager, Ms. Angeline Meiske, responded with extraordinary kindness and professionalism. She immediately organized medical care, helped us throughout the entire process, checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed to recover. She went far beyond her professional responsibilities and showed genuine compassion, empathy, and care. In all our years of travelling, we have rarely experienced such sincere hospitality. Ms. Meiske did not simply solve a problem—she made us feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for during a very difficult time. Her warmth and dedication transformed what could have been a stressful experience into one we will always remember with gratitude. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Angeline Meiske and her wonderful team. People like her are the reason guests return. We sincerely hope the owners invest in renovating this beautiful property, because with such an outstanding team and such a fantastic location, it has the potential to be one of the finest hotels in the area. Thank you for everything. We will never forget your great kindness.

I stayed in one of the suites at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Diponegoro, and from check-in to check-out, the hotel consistently left a positive impression. The warm hospitality started the moment I arrived. I appreciated the thoughtful welcome amenities, and I particularly enjoyed the traditional Indonesian snacks served in the lobby—a small touch that gave the hotel a genuine sense of place rather than feeling like just another international chain. The swimming pool is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the property. Spacious, beautifully landscaped, and surprisingly tranquil, it feels more like a resort than a city hotel. Breakfast was equally impressive, with attentive staff offering freshly prepared specialty dishes in addition to the extensive buffet. There were only two minor disappointments during my stay. Hot water in the bathroom was somewhat inconsistent, and I happened to notice a cigarette butt in the corridor. Neither issue significantly affected my overall experience, but both felt slightly out of character for a hotel that otherwise pays such close attention to detail. That said, considering the quality of the facilities, the service, and the price point, DoubleTree Jakarta Diponegoro offers exceptional value. It is certainly one of the easiest to recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and remarkably good-value stay in Jakarta.
