This was my second stay at Keraton, and I am sure it will not be my last. I truly love the quiet and cozy atmosphere of the hotel, which makes every stay feel very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were superb throughout my stay. The room keeper and concierge were especially attentive, helpful, and pleasant. The room was excellent, and the food spread was delicious with good variety. I will definitely come back again whenever I am in Jakarta. Highly recommended.

We booked this trip very last minute because my family and I just wanted a short getaway somewhere close to home where we could relax. None of us expected that the hotel would end up being one of the highlights of the trip. As a family of four adults, we usually look for interconnected rooms, so I emailed Keraton at The Plaza to ask if they could arrange a Keraton Suite connected to a King Room. The response from Gunawan in Reservations was quick and helpful, and the whole booking process was surprisingly easy. One thing that immediately caught my attention was the all-meals-inclusive package. For a luxury hotel in such a prime location, it offered really good value. Before we even arrived, the team was already taking care of us. I had some parcels arriving before my stay, and the hotel assured me they would receive and keep everything safely. They also helped arrange our airport transfer. Everything was coordinated by Wandaka from the Bell Team, and communication was always prompt. When we landed in Jakarta, Jumadi and the airport team were already waiting for us. The arrival process was smooth and stress-free, which was a great start to the holiday. The welcome at the hotel felt warm and personal. We were given scarves, drinks and local snacks during check-in, which was a nice touch. After that, Wandaka escorted us to our rooms and explained all the facilities. The rooms themselves were beautiful. We stayed in a Keraton Suite connected to a King City View Room, and the setup was perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious, elegant and had lovely Indonesian design elements throughout. The living room and dining area in the suite were very comfortable, the bathrooms were huge, and the beds were honestly some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Breakfast at Selera Keraton became part of our daily routine. We usually went early in the morning when it was quiet and peaceful. The buffet selection was extensive and there were also made-to-order dishes available. We didn't have lunch there, but we enjoyed several dinners at the restaurant and found the food consistently good. What I loved most about Keraton is the atmosphere. The hotel sits right in the middle of Jakarta near Bundaran HI, but once you step inside, it feels completely removed from the noise and traffic outside. It has a calm and peaceful feel that is hard to describe. The lobby is not massive like some luxury hotels, but somehow that makes it feel more intimate and relaxing. The location is also fantastic. Being directly connected to Plaza Indonesia made everything so convenient. We spent a lot of time shopping and never had to worry about traffic or transportation. The real reason this stay was so memorable, however, was the people. Wandaka deserves special recognition. Throughout our stay, we communicated mainly through WhatsApp and he made everything incredibly easy. Whether it was parcel deliveries, housekeeping requests, laundry, GrabFood deliveries or transportation arrangements, he always responded quickly and handled everything without any fuss. What impressed me most was that on our final evening, he came to personally say goodbye because he would be on leave on the day of our departure. He also assured us that all our airport arrangements had already been taken care of. It was a small gesture, but it showed how much he genuinely cared about his guests. Another staff member who made a lasting impression was Gabe from the concierge team. During check-in, we were given some snacks that my family really enjoyed. While we were out one day, I messaged him asking where I could buy them. He replied almost immediately and even offered to purchase them for us. When we returned to the hotel, the snacks were already waiting for us, beautifully packed. It was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. Housekeeping was also excellent. Every evening we came back to a properly turned-down room, with everything prepared for a comfortable night. Looking back, I could probably mention almost every staff member we interacted with because everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. What stood out was how they remembered guests and made interactions feel personal rather than transactional. For my family members, this was their first visit to Jakarta. By the end of the trip, they were already talking about coming back. A big part of that was because of the experience we had at Keraton at The Plaza. We've stayed in many luxury hotels over the years, but it's rare to find a place that combines excellent facilities, a great location and such genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back.
