My check in was late at time but was fast. The reception staff don't speak much of English. The room is simple with bamboo furniture but no amenities provided. You need to bring your own. Towels is clean. There is TV and phone in the room. My room come with balcony. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple and buffet style but everyday the same menu. There is a bar next to the hotel and serve good and cheap beer. Location of the hotel is okay and next to it there is one 24 hours convenient mart and one fast food chain call Rocket Chicken. But if you need to go further, you need a transport.

If you decide to book a budget hotel, then you'll get what you paid for. Don't expect great service with all the amenities as if you paid more. If you decide to book a budget hotel, then you'll get what you paid for. Don't expect great service with all the amenities as if you paid more. For the money, this place is fine albeit a bit rough around the edges, with an edible breakfast. We find ourselves in Lombok once a year for a couple weeks and we stay here because it's cheap and in a sleepy quaint part of town (still only the minimum cab fare into the main part of Senggigi - 7500Rp. as long as you hail one from the road). There's Cafe Alberto right across the street; Rock Gilis, Inari Sushi restaurant, and La Chill a short walk south. We like to walk north to Warung Ijo for cheap meals. There's an good official money changers next door to that. And nearby there's Temptations great for lunch or afternoon snack, dinners aren't too pricey either. There's also a convenience store almost next door. The rooms are alright: pretty plain with minimal furniture and amenities. It could definitely use a touch up. The bathrooms are bare. No place to place your bags and/or clothes expect the floor. At least there were no bugs in our room (no problems with mosquito's as it were not mosquito season during the summer months). The bin is in dire need of being replaced. The bed only comes with a thin itchy wool blanket... I would suggest asking for an extra sheet to sleep with, they'll happily give it to you and if not, better ask the manager. Towels, a bar of soap, and a roll of toilet paper are provided. I suggest a room away from the main road and bar, and also not in the "newer" building facing north (neighbors has a obnoxious cockerel). The breakfast here has not changed in the 4 years we've visited. I'd imagine they would upgrade it a bit but nope. You can expect pretty mediocre service with incompetent staff running the breakfast buffet. Our first morning experience this trip, we went down to have breakfast at 9am and they were out of everything. The staff were all behind the bar just hanging out while we were wondering if breakfast ended at 9. That wasn't the case and we had to ask for more mugs for tea, more bread for toast, more fried rice, even more plates because the staff weren't very proactive in their service. I saw one member of staff just pouring herself a big glass of orange juice and enjoying it while there was much to be done. Breakfast service just appalling. Expect to have to ask for everything since breakfast sgould be until 10. I always look forward to meals but this is one I definitely do NOT look forward to, let alone want to eat but hey, its free-ish. There is a pool and it seems clean and managed regularly. It's located in the back between a wall and the parking lot. Not a big deal but would it hurt them to buy some cheap loungers as opposed to really uncomfortable wooden double seaters?!?! Last year we were here, they only had the plastic red chairs, so they did make a purchase but a really bad one at that. The flowers and plants are pretty though. Speaking of new things, the "Puri Restaurant" is new and we chilled out there one Tuesday evening (live music on Tue., Thu., and Sat.) and were pleasantly surprised. The band was good, the drinks were cheap (good milkshakes for 15000 and glasses of wine starting at 20000). We had imagined that the service and food would be similar to the much-to-be-desired breakfast offering but it was way better. Almost seems like they leased the place out to a competent provider with friendly bartender, waitress, and possibly chef (didn't try any of the food). It was bustling with foreigners and we even witnessed some people dancing. Really impressed with the new changes. A year ago, this place was dead and now its doing an alright business. I think in the future though, we may upgrade to a better place but pay for it in price. If you're not too fussed and not a light sleeper and/or have good earplugs and/or don't mind waking up with everyone else, then this place will be just fine. Otherwise, you can't expect too much if you're only willing to pay 20 bucks with breakfast.
