This is a truly wonderful hotel. I’m rating it 5 stars, but it honestly deserves so much more! First of all, the location is absolutely perfect. The lush Ubud jungle stretches out right in front of you, with nothing else around to disturb the peace. It was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. What made our stay exceptionally special was the staff's hospitality. Everyone was so friendly and always welcomed us with warm conversations. A special thank you to Sastra-san and Ayu-san for your wonderful assistance during our check-out. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and Adi-san surprised us with amazing towel art, which was such a lovely touch! We also deeply appreciate the opportunity to experience the traditional musical instruments. It has become an irreplaceable and lifetime memory for my wife and me. I cannot thank you all enough. I wanted to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude. We will definitely be back! 本当に素晴らしいホテルです。評価は星5にしていますが、それ以上をつけたいくらい感動しました。 まず、ロケーションが最高です。目の前にはウブドの壮大なジャングルが広がっており、それ以外は何もない贅沢な空間。非日常を存分に味わうことができました。 そして何よりも、スタッフの皆さんのホスピタリティが最高でした。どなたもフレンドリーに話しかけてくれて、滞在を楽しく盛り上げてくれます。チェックアウトの際、素晴らしい対応をしてくださったSastraさん、Ayuさん、本当にありがとうございました。 今回はハネムーンでの利用だったのですが、Adiさんがとても素敵なタオルアートを作ってくださり、感動しました。また、伝統楽器の体験もさせていただき、私たち夫婦にとってかけがえのない大切な思い出になりました。 どれだけ感謝しても足りないくらいです。この場を借りて、スタッフの皆さんに心からお礼を言いたいです。素晴らしい滞在をありがとうございました！

An amazing stay from the moment of arrival and check-in. Every staff member—from the front desk to the bar, pool, spa, and maintenance team—was incredibly friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The people truly made this stay a wonderful experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with an impressive selection of à la carte options in the morning. Despite the resort's fairly remote location, the complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour drinks made it even more enjoyable to stay and relax on the property. The villa was perfect, and the private pool was impossible to resist. Although it was a bit of a walk to the villa, the extra exercise helped burn off some of the many calories from all the incredible food. Had I known the experience would be this exceptional, I would have booked a longer stay. That just gives me another reason to return on my next trip to Bali. Thank you again to Cicada Resort for such a memorable and relaxing stay. I look forward to coming back.

There are so many hotels in Ubud! We spent two weeks carefully selecting one, and it was definitely the right choice! 👍👍👍👍 Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection is a boutique luxury resort under the Marriott Group. Newly opened two years ago, it has about 20 rooms, plus 10 villas within the complex. Located on a main road in North Ubud, it's very easily accessible. The hotel is situated in front of the jungle, and the swimming pool is incredibly large—an infinity pool overlooking the jungle, which is very rare. There's also a very large hot water jacuzzi. The staff here, from top to bottom, are all top-notch, fluent in English, with genuine smiles and incredibly attentive service. Each room is spacious, with a sunken bathtub, a large balcony facing the jungle, a Nespresso machine, a variety of exquisite teas, and double vanities—it's so comfortable! Every evening from 6 to 7 pm, each guest can enjoy a complimentary cocktail. The hotel offers about two free activities daily. Early in the morning, they took us on a guided tour of the Water Temple—a truly unforgettable experience. Even better, there are five free shuttle buses daily to Ubud city center (approximately 40 minutes each way). The hotel's breakfast was exquisite and delicious, all made to order, and I was very satisfied. Dinner was more expensive, but the quality was excellent, definitely at an international five-star hotel level. There were different performances every evening starting at 7 pm, including saxophone performances, fire dances, traditional Balinese dances, and many other types. The hotel has a professional photographer who can take photos (for a fee). Each room guest receives a free set of printed photos, and the photographer did a fantastic job.
