We recently spent five wonderful nights at Nandini Jungle by Hanging Gardens, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Having stayed at many outstanding hotels internationally, we tend to have high expectations, so it takes something quite special to impress us. Nandini certainly did. From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in a place that perfectly combines luxury with authentic Balinese hospitality. Our corner suite was exceptional. The panoramic 270-degree views across the surrounding jungle and valley were simply breathtaking. Waking each morning to birdsong and looking out over layers of lush rainforest was incredibly peaceful and made us feel completely connected to nature. One of the hotel's greatest assets is its magnificent gardens. The gardening team deserves enormous credit for creating what can only be described as a living work of art. Everywhere we looked there was an extraordinary variety of lush tropical plants, mature trees, flowering shrubs, ferns and orchids, all beautifully maintained. The meticulous timber and stone craftsmanship, thoughtfully placed water features and winding pathways blend seamlessly with the natural environment, creating the feeling that the resort has grown organically from the jungle itself. We found ourselves constantly stopping simply to admire the beauty surrounding us. As vegetarians, we also appreciated the way our dietary requirements were handled. Every member of the restaurant team understood our preferences before each meal, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality and variety of the food exceeded our expectations, the cocktails were excellent, and fresh bottled water always appeared within moments whenever we needed it. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Ubud was reliable, easy to arrange and driven by friendly, professional drivers. We also thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment, which showcased authentic Balinese culture through an impressive variety of performances. It added another memorable dimension to our stay. What truly distinguishes Nandini, however, is its people. Every member of the team we encountered—whether in the restaurant, housekeeping, gardens, maintenance, reception, shuttle service or management—was consistently warm, professional, attentive and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would particularly like to thank Tirta, Suka, Eka, Rose, Novita, Lestari, Agus and General Manager Parka. While each contributed in different ways, they all demonstrated the same kindness, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm that we experienced from the entire team. They were always happy to share stories about Balinese culture, offer helpful advice and ensure every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. It was especially impressive that both Agus and General Manager Parka generously spent time talking with us despite their busy schedules. Their willingness to listen to our feedback and discuss their vision for continually improving an already exceptional hotel spoke volumes about the culture they have created. Nandini Jungle by Hanging Gardens is much more than a luxury hotel. It is a place where spectacular natural surroundings, beautifully designed accommodation, exquisite gardens and genuinely caring people come together to create an unforgettable experience. We left feeling refreshed, inspired and already looking forward to returning. We would not hesitate to recommend Nandini to anyone seeking a peaceful and authentic Balinese jungle retreat
