Fabulous property providing comfort to a degree seldom found with historical Lombok and the Indian sagas visible round every corner, nook and cranny. If you want a lively place to visit then you'd probably best avoid the Tugu but if you want peace and quiet, wonderful beaches and beautiful scenery then the Tugu is a great option. The food is excellent, great choices throughout the day and all very reasonably priced. The jewel in the crown of the Tugu is undoubtedly the staff. Unbelievably friendly, attentive, helpful and just wonderful. There's way too many to mention in dispatches but the driver Adi, front office Agu and the waiter Hadi went over and above the call of duty to make our stay at the Tugu just perfect.

We spent t nights at Tugu and loved every minute of it. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is stunning. Clean and clear water with access to paddle boards and kayaks if you feel motivated to move off your chair. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Every meal was delicious. We were lucky enough to be there for NYE and had a fantastic evening of local traditions, delicious food and fun music. A great way to end our year and start the new one.

Hotel Tugu Lombok was truly a surreal experience. First and foremost, the property is gorgeous, with a beautiful beach, traditional Indonesian architecture, aesthetic pools and works of art dispersed. The rooms we stayed in, whether it was the alon-alon bungalow or the Bhagawad Gita bungalow, were spacious and well designed. But the best part of the hotel is the staff. I only remember Ruslan and Faisol but all of the waiting staff and behind the scenes staff were angels. They always greeted us with smiles and addressed us with our names, just reiterating the level of care and respect they showed towards guests. I have never connected with hotel staff as much as i have in Tugu Lombok. Turndown service was provided everyday without asking, where they dimmed the lights and even sprayed the room with mosquito repellent. There are no words to describe our experience in the 4 nights we stayed there. It was truly a magical holiday. (Mayur Mukhi)

We booked this hotel at the very last minute – only the night before our arrival – yet the communication was incredibly fast, professional, and seamless. The excellent service started right at the airport: we were welcomed by our driver (the transfer was included in our tariff) and delighted to find fresh bottled water and fruit already waiting for us in the car, which was a wonderful touch after our journey. The reception at the hotel was exceptionally warm, making us feel at home immediately. Originally we had planned to move on the next day to trek Mount Rinjani, but due to unstable weather conditions, we decided to postpone the trek and extend our stay by one night. Unfortunately, the weather did not improve, and the tour had to be canceled altogether, so we spontaneously extended our stay for another three nights. What truly touched us was the staff's genuine concern: they checked in on us to ensure that everything was alright with us personally and our travel plans, even asking if anything had happened. This heartfelt care and genuine interest, combined with their delight to have us stay with them longer, was a truly kind and personal gesture. The property itself is stunning, designed like a vast, expansive park, offering enough space and privacy to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere. It is filled with beautiful Balinese art and statues that create a unique sense of tranquility and a deep connection to the local culture. Breakfast and dinner were always delicious with a wide variety of choices. We also enjoyed the complimentary high tea with local specialties! What makes this place truly special is the extraordinarily attentive staff. We were constantly surprised by thoughtful little details: artistically folded floral arrangements, a specially decorated table for our meal, and charming handwritten notes on leaves. These personal touches demonstrate the incredible heart and dedication behind their service. If you are looking for a perfect blend of professional management, a beautiful environment, and heartfelt, personal care, this is the ultimate place to be. We would love to come back!
