Gili Trawangan is such a beautiful island, and this resort is located right on the beach a short walk from the main "town". What to say about Vila Ombak?! When we arrived the renovation work that they had said would be complete and then had said was only around the huts and was “finishing up and landscaping”, was clearly not that - it was in two areas of the hotel grounds, with loud drilling by both pools!
