“Hotel with character.”
Lovely old hotel, large bedroom and new bathroom with good showers. Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing views over the sea and central location close to the train, pubs and restaurants.

“Very clean hotel right in town”
When I arrived in my room, there was a note on the door indicating everything had been sanitized. The tv remote was in a sealed plastic bag. “Where have the mushy peas gone!!”
Amazing food and staff. We are local and it’s been a while since we visited the commodore for food. As always it didn’t disappoint. We had the scampi and the fish and chips. “Cute Hotel, Great Location!”
We stayed at the Commodore 3/28 and 3/29. The room was large with a beautiful bathroom. I was surprised that there was no refrigerator, but perhaps that is an American thing! The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was adequate. The view was stunning! We had a sea view room on the third floor.… more
