From booking to key collection I found this company amazing, the staff could not do enough to help and ensure everything was set up and ready for our break. I was absolutely blown away by this apartment, it’s a very modern penthouse located at the bottom of grafton street with views overlooking trinity college. This has to be seen to be believed! The lift actually brings you straight into the middle of the apartment and the balcony’s have amazing views overlooking the Dublin skyline. We actually didn’t want to leave !!!

“Great place to stay”

Nearby Temple bar and Trinity, just what wewere looking for. Nice clean appartment. The lack off warm water but compliments for the service. Very helpfull when needed. they were there 2 to help us. We can recommend it!

We knew there were going to be lots of steps to our apartment which was situated right next to Dublin Castle but there were 58 so just bear that in mind if booking. We knew there were going to be lots of steps to our apartment which was situated right next to Dublin Castle but there were 58 so just bear that in mind if booking. We did not have any problems but one of our party was a smoker, still, it helped her to cut down as she did not want to keep going downstairs :) it is a no smoking apartment. The apartment itself was very clean as was the bedding. There were 3 in our party and we had a room each, I slept on the sofabed which was surprisingly comfy. The kitchen was clean and adequate but we didn't cook. There was a welcome tray of tea/coffee, always good. The bathroom was ok. I noted they have now put a lock on the door which I had read in previous reviews was not there, this to me was a concern. There is a large crack in the bottom of the bath but we all showered. Lots of fluffy towels available. My only tiny gripe was that although in theory the apartment can sleep 6 there was only 1 sofa which at a squash could seat 3. One of us always used a kitchen stool. There is room for another chair in a corner which would be useful. The bedrooms were clean and there was loads of storage space too. I booked this apartment as I have stayed in Temple Bar previously which as expected was very noisy. Don't expect it to be quiet here either. I thought it might be better but to be honest the noise from the bars in an ally across the road are noisy until the early hours too. It was great being next to the Castle though and there is a bistro right below which was always busy. All in all though I would book this apartment again as it was clean and not too expensive for Dublin. I must say that Dublin City Apartments were great re communication and being helpful. We booked the taxi transfers from and to the airport which saved lots of messing around. As our apartment was ready when we landed at 8am we were taken to the office to pick up our keys and were taken straight to the apartment. On our return the taxi driver picked up cases from the apartment and took them to the office so we were able to wander around for the day going back to the office at 6pm to pick up cases and taxi before being taken back to the airport. We spent a day on the DART (from Tara Street station) which was only 12.50 euro's. It travels both north and south along the coast. You can hop on and off at all the stations. I would highly recommend eating breakfast at Crabby Jo's at Howth and also visit Malahide with it's quaint shops and little marina. I will mention a visit to Peadar Kearneys' which is just across the road from the apartment. Fantastic time had there with traditional music and a real buzz. It was recommended by the taxi driver. All in all we had a great time.
