Pay attention for prebooked room when you're check in. You might get another room. And 1 more negative point regarding iron facility, the iron which was provided in the room wasn't good. Pay attention for prebooked room when you're check in. You might get another room. And 1 more negative point regarding iron facility, the iron which was provided in the room wasn't good. It burned the t-shirt, it did hole. Positive points are customer service is good and everyday housekeeping do it was clean. We booked a deluxe room which was a modern style and big enough. English Breakfast was provided for extra costing, a bit expensive for my opinion and staying for 2 nights same kind of expensive but we were satisfied with our weekend break experience exclude the points which I mentioned.

“South County Dublin easy access hotel with parking”

We have stayed in the Talbot singly or as a couple when visiting Dublin many times over the past couple of years. It is easily accessible, has ample parking, is on the main bus routes into town, and most of the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. They are presently renovating some rooms on the second floor. Some of the rooms facing centrally suffer from the noise of fans from the ground floor - although this is not a problem generally after hours. The pillows are not great - thin firm pillows . The crew on reception are very helpful and particularly Bala, who not alone remembered us from a previous visit, but also was efficient and very helpful when it came to moving rooms. He is engaging, chatty, effective and a great welcoming host when arriving at the hotel. We ate in Brass, the bistro, on the friday night. The food (hake and chips) was delicious and the beer (and Guinness) good too. There was a singer later in the evening who was very good - so a decision to 'stay in' ended up being a great evening in the hotel. The breakfasts are another good reason to stay - a wide range of fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, & cereals, but no continental options for those who like european type buffets. However the cooked breakfast is very good.
