“It was great!”

Clean and comfortable rooms, the bed was very comfy and the pillows were amazingly fluffy Amazing view and great service and the hotel is in a very central location which made going everywhere very easy, there are a lot of great places to eat neqrby Really enjoyed our stay.

This place had lots of potential but falls flat in many ways - badly in need of upkeep - peeling walls, etc. Front desk is not manned even during the hours it's supposed to be open - the description does not clearly spell out that you need to go up a narrow staircase, with no handrails to get to th… more

This place had lots of potential but falls flat in many ways - badly in need of upkeep - peeling walls, etc. Front desk is not manned even during the hours it's supposed to be open - the description does not clearly spell out that you need to go up a narrow staircase, with no handrails to get to the bedroom and bathroom. We did not receive bottled water, no concierge - basically fend for yourself - and the gym/spa costs an additional fee. There is paid parking but it costs more than twice what the front desk told us to expect. Truth in advertising would be welcomed - very unfortunate.

“Trapped”

I was a guest at this hotel for over one year from January 2, 2023 to February 13, 2024. I love Israel, I always pray for Israel, and I love City Tower. However, on January 11, 2023, I was trapped inside the small restroom downstairs for 18 hours. Upon coming home on January 11, 2023, around 4:30 PM, I placed my phone on the dining table, and used the restroom. When I was finished in the restroom, I could not let myself out. Somehow the door became stuck. I was banging on the door and walls, repeatedly yelling for help in the late afternoon, evening, and night hours, but no one heard me. As the night progressed, the restroom was getting colder and colder. I was trying to think of ways to keep myself warm when I finally turned on the hot water so that the steam could provide me some heat. I was fearful that I would die in the restroom by myself away from my family and I was praying for dear life. The anxiety, fright, and use of energy all had its effect on me and I became weary as the hours passed. Due to being confined in a small space for a long period of time, it became harder to breathe, and at some point, I passed out, fell, and hurt my head which resulted in a bump. Finally, I thought that it would be morning so I gathered my energy and once again cried out for help with no luck. I was yelling for help and banging furiously on the walls and doors. Around 11:30 AM or so, the hotel workers finally heard me and came and opened my hotel room door and bathroom door. When they opened the door I felt like the air out of a balloon was just released, I could barely walk or stand upright, falling onto the workers, and my skin had turned blue and cold. Because I was deprived of oxygen for so long, it was hard for me to properly breathe and it felt like I was unable to fully get oxygen into my lungs. I was unable to get up and go anywhere, resting on my bed for 5 days. During this time, I was surprised that the hotel owner did not come to see me or talk to me, but I have forgiven him. For a while, I had trauma of using the restroom especially downstairs and even passing by the restroom I was trapped in for 18 hours. This affected my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. My children were not with me and I was alone. However, when I saw my children and grandchildren, it made me realize God rescued me from death and gave me the gift of life. As the months and years have passed, I began to further understand more of the miracle of what God did to save my life. Although I know the law, I did not take any legal actions or make any case against the hotel. That is also the reason why I did not go to the hospital to be examined. Because if I went and got examined at the hospital, there would have been a case against the hotel.
