Location: The hotel is built on the ruins of a 17th century Turkish Khan was home to Austrian Council during the Ottoman era. Located in the Artist Colony of Safed, this unique hotel captures Safed's unique atmosphere and palette of colours. “Clean and lovely”
Amazing! First impression- spotlessly clean. Room- very clean, bright. We were in the Gefen building. Floors 2 and 3. Room 305 is a corner room. Big. Room 208 has a balcony. Crisp white sheets and towels. All rooms have robes and slippers. Pool area spotless. No food. Only drinks and ice creams

“A rememberable stay in Safed and Israel’s upper Galilee”

“Beautiful hotel but disappointing rooms”
I would rate our room as 3 if not less. Dark, outdated, the bathroom small with a slippery narrow bathtub ( does not fit seniors).. the extra bed in our room was narrow and small for an adult ( we paid for 3 adults).
