“A small, family run, unpretentious hotel that we enjoyed very much”

We (I, my wife and 8 yr old daughter) spent a week in Bardonecchia and booked this little hotel to be walking distance to both the slopes and the town center. The room - was fine. We booked a triple. Nothing special, yet nothing awful. For Italy, the size of the room was decent. We had a little balcony. Breakfast was included in our rate, and while a little minimal, there was something for everyone (including eggs - hardboiled - for me). Where this hotel really stood out was the warm hospitality. They helped us secure dinner reservations, helped us in the middle of the night when our daughter was sick, and did everything they could to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves. We would come back again.

My wife and I booked through Inghams for a week in Bardonecchia , first observation Italy is far better value than France at present , i reckon drinks food lift pass etc at least a third cheaper the the equivalent in France , Our room was clean airy nice balcony ( too cold to sit outside but great for keeping the drinks cold ) always plenty of hot water .Food was good buffet continental breakfast and set dinner good value

“Great Service, everything you need on a ski holiday!”

We stayed here through Inghams for a half term ski break for 1 week. The transfer from Turin was quick (around 1 hour). We instantly felt welcome at Larici by the owner who speaks English. All staff at at the hotel did a great job, we especially loved Oswaldo at dinner every evening, and the lady who served breakfast. Our room was cleaned everyday to a high standard! Dinner is large (perhaps one pasta dish after antipasti and desert would be enough). Do expect something a little different, you are in the mountains so it was very traditional. Some of the main meat dishes we found a little strange, but there wasn't a meal we didn't enjoy. We couldn't fault this hotel. 15 minutes max to main ski lift, 2-minute walk to the bus for the other ski area, and 5 mins walk to the train station, hot water, big enough rooms, and a lovely selection of wine! Its not grand, just very traditional and perfect for what we needed.

“Clean, dry and cosy.”

Stayed here with a friend for a week of skiing in quiet season. Hotel was quiet during this week and only had one other British couple. Room was small as was bathroom. Stayed here with a friend for a week of skiing in quiet season. Hotel was quiet during this week and only had one other British couple. Room was small as was bathroom. Most importantly it was clean, dry and warm. Temps dropped as low as -10deg so this was most appreciated! Hotel appears to be family run and offers continental breakfast. Not bad food but would be good to have fresh juice like orange and a small selection of fresh fruit. Would recommend as it’s reasonably priced and convenient. Located 3-min walk from strip of shops and restaurants and 10-13min walk from Campo Smith Lifts.
