A phenomenal hotel. From A to Z the AKI hotel meets highest hospitality standards, close to perfection: booking, welcoming and attentive staff, jaw-dropping design, spacious and equipped room , central facilities, top culinary experience, and most importantly - great activities for kids indoor and outdoor. Can’t praise enough this addition to the excellent Adler chain. Well done Sanoner family and the AKI team. Memories for a lifetime!

This is a perfect family hotel. The facilities for kids are excellent, from the on-site farm where kids can interact with the farm animals directly (there are lamas, goats, bunnies to name a few), water slides and fantastic indoor playground. The décor is all neutral colours and natural materials. For the kids, every detail has been thought of, both in rooms and in the common areas, including a stand alone "milk station" where families can get healthy snacks at all hours. The restaurant caters well both for adults and kids. We gorged on fresh salads and fruit all week, all very healthy. I did not feel it was repetitive but I am happy to eat salads and protein so did not bother me. In addition, there are pasta. pizza stations, cheeses, charcuterie, one would struggle to go hungry. A few other positives to mention: free laundry facilities, room layout was perfect where kids has their own room. The kids club was fantastic. Our normally kids club averse children were happy to stay there and actually asked to go. A lot of activities for the kids, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We will return.

“Best hotel stay ever”

Just wow I don’t know if I can put it into words but I’ll try…. We booked for a week in Aki family resort and we had never been to an Alder hotel before, I had checked the reviews on trip adviser and there wasn’t many…. They are a new hotel only open a few months which I was a little bit nervous about but oh my god it exceeded expectations…. Who ever is in charge of this hotel needs a massive pat on the back…. I don’t know where to start… The staff Every single staff member in this resort is exceptional from the small things like remembering names and your favourite drinks to what the kids want for dinner, from the cleaning staff to reception all are just outstanding… big mention for Noah in the bar, heather and all the girls in the kids club who made a massive effort with my girls (6 and 3) mateo our waiter in the restaurant…. Valeria on front of house was also amazing and so helpful. Food So much choice for kids, and for us great variety. Nothing was a problem, if they didn’t have something the kids wanted they just went and got it for us. The resort itself Breathtaking 360 degree views again so cleverly thought out in building the hotel it was immaculately clean at all times The pool was fabulous , lovely and warm outside and so clean we spent hours in here and on the water slides The spa I had 3 massages in the week and my 6 year old had a massage with me which was so special it’s like no other spa I have been too, just hidden away in the woods overlooking tall trees and the mountains, again breathtaking, Serena my therapist (sorry if the spelling is wrong ) was excellent The rooms were so well thought out from baby monitors to fully black out blinds to little sinks for the kids and they each had their own bedroom with in our bedroom, our view was insane over looking the snow topped mountains and the beautiful pool The hotel is full of things to do and so many staff on hand to help with anything you needed. Every turn you went to their was a new kids area to play from slides to board games to its own art room where they made bird houses and cups and Easter decorations. The highlight has to be how relaxing it is sitting around in one of the many areas outside in the warm sun or inside and the kids just running around on they play areas that are all in view of the bars and chill out areas for us adults… it’s so cleverly thought out.. I could honestly write pages about this place we have never been any where like it it’s calming relaxing peaceful unique and fun all rolled into one. We were all so sad to be leaving and I can’t not wait to return in the very near future. Pure 5 star luxury for adults and pure fun for children. Well done to all at aki family resort you should be so proud.

Writing this review as we found there were so few reviews to make our decision on as it's such a new hotel, and all those we did find weren't from people travelling from the UK so were all translated from their original languages to varying degrees of accuracy! We travelled with our 16 month old daughter and stayed for 5 nights at the end of January 2025. We flew into Innsbruck (the other option of Bolzano is closer but less frequent flights, but I would try and use this airport next time as we hit bad traffic from Innsbruck and it took 2 hours in the shuttle to get to the hotel by which time our daughter was loosing patience!) The hotel itself is immaculate and you can tell a lot of effort has gone into making something truly purpose built for families. Long carpeted corridors without any breakables at low heights, little steps up to viewing galleries to watch the chefs in the kitchen, and platforms to be able to join in the check in and check out process at the reception desks are just a few of the more subtle wins. The programme of activities is really good, we loved everything we tried from walking alpacas, visiting the petting farm, the family sauna treatments, arts and crafts sessions and so much more. We also tried the adults only yoga classes every day with Katharina who was such a lovely teacher, and the fitness classes with Cristian who was also first class. There is also a really lovely creche and kids club which runs from 9am - 9pm every day of the week! We weren't quite sure what to expect in terms of flexibility but basically anything goes. You don't have to pre-book and you can just pop down and leave your children for as long or as short amount of time as suits you. We left our daughter most days for 45 minutes so we could enjoy a peaceful coffee together and they had no issues with this! I had requested that they call us if she got upset as we really didn't need her to be in the creche if she wasn't having a good time and they did exactly as I had asked which I found really reassuring. The food is a buffet style for breakfast and lunch, with a la carte for dinner but also a buffet option if you prefer which was great for our daughter as she has very little patience for waiting in her high chair! The food itself was five star. The buffet was so fresh and beautifully presented with endless options that even the fussiest eaters would find something to enjoy! The restaurant staff were plentiful which makes it all very seamless and enjoyable. They have a dedicated table for you so you have the same spot every day which ensures it is set up for your specific needs (i.e. the waiter/waitress speaks your language, we had a highchair, bib, plastic plates and beaker ready and waiting for us at every meal!). If you are travelling with young children the pool is just amazing compared to UK equivalents. The water temperature is 36 degrees and even the outdoor pool manages to hold that heat comfortably despite the air temperature being sub 0 degrees celcius during our stay. The baby pool is shallow enough that even tiny babies could sit up without their head being submerged and our daughter loved the freedom a shallow pool gave her to toddle around it independently rather than being carried. There are also two flumes and a water slide which were great fun! Although the facilities are really worth raving about, I would also say that there is an absolute army of staff and although they seem to work almost invisibly, I think it is that which really sets the place apart from other luxury hotels. The place is absolutely spotless and everything is thought of for you in advance. Overall we absolutely loved it and we have already booked to come again in the Summer!
