I travelled to Italy with my Fiance, we rented a car and drove to Lezzano. We were greeted as we arrived by Giusy and taken to our apartment, her English was good and we had no trouble communicating. My first impression of the apartment were of how clean it was, Giusy has great pride in her establishment. Our fridge was was nicely stocked with Juice, eggs, cheese, sausages and yoghurt and still water. There were also bread, croissants, biscuits and pastries as well as tea and coffee. The apartment offered everything, hair dryer, iron, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, coffee perculator, you name it and it was all refreshed every day. Each evening we sat out on the secluded garden and enjoyed the views in absolute peace with a glass of local wine. The B&B is situated between Ballagio and Como, there was too much for is to do in the 3 days we were there. We are already making plans for a return trip next year. Thank you Giusy for a lovely stay, see you next year.

Sosta Sul Lago is a very nicely run B&B by a lady called Giusy. She was very helpful in showing us around the accomodation and how things work.lake Como is overlooking the sitting/dining area.breakfast is provided but you have to cook and prepare it yourself which suits us fine.nearby swimming area and supermarket is just 3 minutes walk. there is outside sitting area where you can relax and enjoy your wine or beer whilst looking over lake Como. Overall, we had a nice and lovely time in Lake Como

“Great Accommodation!”

The Owner was very helpful. Beautiful views of the lake. We Will definitely come back! The apartament has everything we needed. Maps, bus and ferry schedules, and more. The apartament was very clean and well kept.

This is an apartment with a full kitchen and gorgeous, unobstructed views of lake. It is large and clean, however, it is not a Bed and Breakfast with a full breakfast as described. I would describe this property as an apartment with a self-serve upgraded continental breakfast, full kitchen, and access to a very nice family room. It has three rooms as I can see so the place would be a good choice for a family gathering for several days with the use of a full kitchen and family room. Normally a B&B has a great breakfast prepare by the host consisting of local food such as fresh breads, cheeses, prosciutto, bacon or ham, eggs, assortment of jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The host prepares this great breakfast and joins you at the table discussing what you did that previous day and offering insights into the local culture and other activities. If this type of breakfast was prepared with local commentary, rather than a meal with store-bought bread and pastries in plastic wrappers and bags I would then characterize this property as a real B&B. What you do get is still great, as you have access to a family room with great views, TV, a comfortable sofa, a full kitchen to prepare your own breakfast, lunch or dinner, and brochures and info on the local attractions. This apartment is located is a nice location near two restaurants within a 10 minute walk to the South where you can eat dinner, and a ferry stop a 10 minute walk to the North. We caught the first ferry at 1142 every morning and went to the Villa del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, or the charming town of Bellagio. Generally since the ferry comes back in the early in the 1630-1730 time frame, we would hop in the car and be in the charming town of Bellagio and be there in about 15 minutes. Generally this is not a lake that you want to drive much around, as the road is 1.5 lanes in many places and lacks a shoulder. It is always a nail biting experience when you pass a car going the opposite way, and an event when it is a bus. Take the convenient ferry system. Look up the link to the navigazionelaghi web site. Plan your trips from the ferry info. You are in the town of Lezzeno. This property is in a good location near the major sights and towns to visit. The host Giusy is very friendly and helpful. She will e-mail you before you arrive and answer any questions that you may have. Payment is in cash (Euros), and she adds a 10 Euro cleaning fee (called a resort fee) on to the bill for each day you stay. I might suggest this odd cleaning fee just be added to the regular price of the night stay to be more conventional and straightforward up front. In summary, this is a great unit with great views of the late with a full kitchen and shared family room. The host is great but it is not a B&B with full breakfast as advertised. As a B&B I rated it as a 4 on a 5 point scale. If you are expecting an apartment where you are left alone and have an upgraded, self-serve continental breakfast provided with a full kitchen, then I would rate it as a strong 5/5.
