“How to spend a relaxing weekend in an old-fashioned hotel”
Albergo Moderno is the oldest hotel of Lovere, one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy, always managed by the same family in multiple generations. “Great restaurant for our final night!”
Had the caprese salad to share, salmerino pasta each, tiramisu and Sicilian cake - deeeelicious!!! Good location, great food and our waiter was great fun and knowledgable. Would love to return one day!

“Fantastic views. ”
A warm welcome when walking into the hotel, given a room with a view to die for , yes a little dated but that just adds to the charm of this brilliantly placed hotel. The food in the restaurant was lovely with great service from all the staff and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.
