We enter the Primiero Valley, an area with a thousand-year tradition of hospitality. In fact, the construction of the monastery of Saints Martin and Julian dates back to the year 1000, offering hospitality to travelers on their way to Rome and the Holy Land. In the second half of the 19th century, thanks to the arrival of the English and Germans, the first pioneers of mountaineering, the first alpine hotel in the whole of Trentino was born in San Martino. With a continuous crescendo we arrive at the current tourist development of the Valley and in particular of San Martino di Castrozza, a Dolomite location known for its beautiful views and the fantastic "Pale" which, with their 3000 meters of height, dominate the town and they are colored with the moods of the time. The Hotel Fratazza stands in this magnificent context, about 100 meters from the Tognola ski lift and about 900 meters from the town centre. At the Hotel Fratazza the guest is welcomed in a comfortable atmosphere, in discreet spaces with a flavor of times gone by.

“great”
great position (100m from cable car - for skiing in winter, or hiking in summer) and view, good value for money, excellent food, great hospitality, if we will be back in the area, we'll definitely stay again...

“Great quality for a 2-star hotel”
Good quality/price ratio, comfy bed, smiling staff, generous parking, and an excellent position if you're skiing in Tognola (the hotel is only 300 m away from the lifts). Dinner was low quality, but then again we only paid around 30 euro for two people, so I guess at least it was fairly priced.
