This hotel provided us with half board - Breakfast and Dinner and wow did they deliver.....certainly not a weight loss holiday! Facilities especially the pool area worth the trip. The hotel is well sited for views across the valley, proximity to the town and transport but this is the mountains so plenty of stairs that keep you short of breathe. We had a car which helped us get around the valley. The bus service for skiers is pretty good but crowded the week we were there as it was mid-terms I cant stress enough how good this property and the team are. Will be back.

A fantastic week at this wonderful, family-run hotel. Lukas and his staff gave us great service and personal attention from the first moment. Delicious food and good wines, including a good selection of local South Tyrolean wines. The hotel even has its own brewery with an exciting selection of craft beers. Lovely and quiet location, with a stunning view of Sassolungo and the surrounding landscape from the room and from the wellness area and swimming pool. Santa Cristina and Hotel Interski are ideally located for hiking in beautiful and wonderful mountain areas of Val Gardena and surrounding areas. We appreciated the opportunity for guided hikes with the hotel's own guide, Giorgio, and he and Lukas also gave other good hiking tips. We would really love to return to Hotel Interski.

Hotel Interski would fare better as a three star hotel. The standard room was fine, the bathroom (shower cubicle) more basic. Hotel Interski would fare better as a three star hotel. The standard room was fine, the bathroom (shower cubicle) more basic. The provision of meals was generally satisfactory but not of a four star standard, often providing quantity in place of quality. The owner of the hotel was a constant presence which was welcome by some and found too much by others. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. The policy of the hotel is to provide a coffee maker and bottled water in the rooms, both paid for as extras. There is no kettle, no tea bags, sugar or milk provided, not even cups for the coffee (there are water glasses and small paper cups) as in all comparable hotels. Therefore, in the night, the only options are bottled water or black espresso. When I wrote to reception about the lack of drink options in the room, there was no offer forthcoming to attempt to meet a guest's need. Black coffee or water; and pay extra for both. As a guest I felt I had to adapt to the hotel's policy rather than the hotel attempt to meet the needs of their guest.

Cheap and sometimes old ingredients and nót tastefully prepared and lacks variation as could be expected from a 4 star hotelrestaurant in Italy. The offered vegetarian alternatives were very bad. The hotelowner, dominantly present, is quick to take offence and is absolutely not service oriented. The only available beer is brewed in the hotel is a turbid beer , that tastes like lemonade. Only after much insistence the owner was prepared to get other beer from outside , wich he called "commercial", something that his own beer probably will never become. After an unpleasant discussion with the owner we were offered a refund of €35 p.p.p.d. if we would agree to have dinner outside the hotelrestaurant. That was an offer we took with both hands for the duration of the last three days of our stay.
