“Feel very welcome in this cosy hotel, great location ”

Nicely refurbished, very friendly young people running the place. Room is basic but clean and nice terrace with a great view. The bar is very welcoming and a good place to drink a good glass of wine. Will certainly come back!

“A quiet 7 days”

For us the Hotel Astoria was just what we were looking for. Compact, fairly quiet, and friendly. Situated in the centre of Fiera which was perfect for us Check in was easy and although I have a half decent grasp of Italian the lady on reception spoke English quite well, this varies from none to alm… more

For us the Hotel Astoria was just what we were looking for. Compact, fairly quiet, and friendly. Situated in the centre of Fiera which was perfect for us Check in was easy and although I have a half decent grasp of Italian the lady on reception spoke English quite well, this varies from none to almost fluent across the other staff members. The room was a decent size with a balcony offering incredible views. Bathroom with shower was, like the rest of the room, spotlessly clean. The one thing with European rooms is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We are so used to this in the UK we are slightly lost without it when we visit some parts of Europe. There is Free wifi for those that cant do with out the internet (mobile data is almost non existent), although the signal didn't reach our room on the 2nd floor, however sitting in the bar checking emails is a nice way to pass some time. Breakfast is a standard, if a little old fashioned, European buffet breakfast. Nothing cooked but plentiful supplies of cold meats, cheese, bread, cereals, biscuits.....you get the idea! Tea and coffee a plenty too! There's certainly no need to go hungry...!!! Drinks at the bar are really well priced, and the coffee is well made. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would quite happily stay again.

Hotel in the center of Fiera di Primiero - nice place to stay. Advantages: 1. A lot of space in the rooms. I shared my room with two friends and it was definitely enough space for every of us. 2. Clean rooms - starting from the corridors, ending in the bathroom. 3. Friendly personel - younger receptionist speaks english moderately. In fact it could be better but anyway, it was not a big problem to communicate. 4. Convenient temperature regulator in the wall. 5. Center of this small city - close to the restaurants, conference center, river :-). 6. Great views on the Alps from the room's windows. Disadvantages: 1. If someone does not like a noise of the water - just select another hotel, more distant from the river. 2. For me a little bit to much ornaments on the corrirors and waiting area. 3. Breakfast OK but it would be nice to have bigger selection of delicious italian cheese and hams. Anyway - great hotel for shorter and longer stays.
