First trip to Pila, and first time staying at 'Hotel Etoile De Neige' Neither will be our last. Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel, all the staff were nothing but helpful, kind and friendly. Nothing was ever a problem. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff clearly working tirelessly to achieve this. Again the staff in this area are on the ball, working long ours and still manage a smile and joke. The food was lovely, not always to my taste, but (that's a me problem for being fussy)!. I challenge anyone to leave hungry , there's something for everyone! Special thanks to the bar staff for keeping my wife going in 'Spritz' of varying blends!! They even sell Southern Comfort, the first hotel in Europe I've stayed in that keeps my tipple!! Ref ski in/out. It is definitely a ski in hotel, but on leaving the ski room there is just a 1 min walk to the piste to be skiing out! If that! Our room was spacious, and functional, lots of hanging space for our ski gear. We were on the rear of the hotel with balcony and excellent views overlooking the piste. Rooms at the front of the hotel have fantastic views over looking the Aosta valley. Neither will disappoint. If you're looking for apres in a holiday, then Pila is probably not the right resort for you. This hotel is relaxing, and not the liveliest, but you make your own entertainment. They have an array of card and board games behind the reception area to borrow. My wife is now a Monopoly convert! Lol As mentioned in other reviews there aren't any tea/ coffee facilities in the rooms, but can vouch for the coffee (as a snob) at breakfast... It's lovely! 😋 Hot drinks are available at the bar! As stated earlier, would I return here.... Yes I would. Hope this review helps.

We are currently staying at Hotel Étoile de Neige in Pila while on a family ski trip, and it has been a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by the mountains and perfect for skiing. What really makes this place special is the staff. They truly go above and beyond to look after their guests. During our stay, my son unfortunately injured himself while skiing and had to go to the hospital. The team at the hotel showed incredible kindness and care — they even came to pick us up from the hospital, which meant so much to our family during a stressful moment. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine concern made a difficult situation much easier. We’re very grateful for their help and for the lovely atmosphere they create here. A fantastic place to stay for a family ski trip — highly recommended.

Thank you to everyone at the Etoile de Neige. Your hotel feels like home to us. Please carry on doing exactly what you are doing - we think you are all wonderful! Such friendly and efficient hospitality, always with a smile and a greeting. Our room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the slopes was perfect- especially for after ski relaxation in the sunshine. Our room and bathroom were both very comfortable and spacious. All meals were excellent. As a Vegetarian, I particularly appreciated the huge choice of evening buffet style starters and the soup was always vegetarian. There was always a delicious hot vegetarian option too. I loved the Italian pasta, risotto & gnocchi throughout the week. Fresh fruit salad was always available as a desert option in addition to cake and gelato with sauces and sweeties! Breakfast was accompanied by the best Lavazza coffee (diary free milk options were always available - soya and oat) along with cereals, yoghurt, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit and some cooked breakfast items too. There is a real team spirit amongst all the hard working staff, owners and management. With this combined with a truly ski in/out location, why would you stay anywhere else in Pila? I stayed at Hotel Etoile de Neige in February and had a truly wonderful experience. The food is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points: generous portions and a varied menu every evening, with well-prepared and tasty dishes. The appetizer buffet was always rich and diverse, offering plenty of choice and good-quality products. You can really tell there’s care and attention behind it, and dinner quickly became one of the highlights of the day. The rooms were clean and tidy, simple yet comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s rest. A big credit goes to the entire staff: always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. You can feel a genuine team spirit, and that makes a real difference. It’s not just formal politeness. It’s sincere hospitality that makes you feel truly welcome! A special thank you to Bruno, the hotel director, always present, approachable, smiling, and highly professional. He knows how to make guests feel at ease and ensures everything runs smoothly. Congratulations to everyone for the excellent work. I will definitely remember this stay with great pleasure!
