“Excellent family stay”

We stayed as a family of four in a last minute booking. Julia was very helpful over email in advance. When we were there, all the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. I think it’s a bilo one bedroom. It was quite hard to work out exactly what we were booking from the photos though. What we got a first floor little apartment, with a small kitchen/diner/lounge, a fairly large bathroom and a bedroom that had a double bed and a bunk bed. Each room opened onto a balcony. Everything worked well. The shower was always instantly hot. The kitchen had an induction 4x hob and a dishwasher. Plenty of pots and pans. We didn’t cook much as the booking was cheap (vs many other resorts), so we spent the money saved in restaurants! Generally it was very quiet, despite being full when we went. On the last night the family below were very loud and we could hear this until 11pm. As it was my last night I did not go and cause a scene. The mini bus service to the slopes is perfect. It’s was run by Martino, who was absolutely wonderful. I think it started at 8.45 and ran until 10.45. The queue never felt that long and normally we were just waiting for it to return. They do beers and coffee in the afternoon and evening at a very reasonable price in the reception, with sofas and kids games The spa was nice. Children can go in so it needs to be clear if people should be in swim suits or naked! I don’t think children appreciate naked old men…!

I stayed at Residence dei Walser in january for a ski-trip with some friends. The sevice at my stay has been one of the best I have ever recieved. The hosts did everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible, and drove us around where we needed to go, went to pick up pizza, organized breakfast, pluss so much more. I would reccomend this bed and breakfast for anyone that wants good service. They really deserve to know how good of a job they are doing, and I hope to be able to come back some time later. Thank you Alexio and Louisa for everything!

“Good value, location and really helpful staff.”

Had a great stay. The location was fantastic. The staff were very helpful. The shuttle service was a great feature too, especially for the weekends when parking at the resort was more of an issue. Its possible to Ski-In to about 50m from the hotel. To get to the resort its a quick 2 min drive (or in shuttle bus). The area isnt the busiest so not great for party animals but plenty of different places a short drive away for a good meal, glass of wine or a few beers. The fact it isnt so busy has its upsides with minimal lift lines. If you come to Gressoney area, i definitely recommend Residence Dei Walser.

“Fantastic hospitality in great location for skiing ”

Dei Walser is perfect for monterrosa skiing. Luisa is a superb host. Nothing is too much trouble. Sauna and hamman help recovery after a day on the slopes. Shuttle to lifts in the morning. Bus stop right outside
