“A very good place to stay in Mattera”
We have been at Italy on june and july 2025 to celelebrate my 80 husband's birthday. “ Great introduction to Matera”
Superb. You drive through a comercial center but one through the gates it's amazing. The attention to detail of the whole site is excellent. Staff very friendly too. “Lovely hotel & best steak ever!”
This was an interesting and lovely place seemingly carved out of limestone stone similar to what you see in the city of Matera. It dates to the mid-1700s and was a grain or flour mill of some sort. “Quiet location, ideal for excursions in Matera and the surrounding area.”
Quiet location yet quite close to all the attractions. A car is advantageous. Friendly staff. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. Unfortunately, there was no hot water (for showers) upon arrival, and a technician had to be called. Nice, large pool. Wi-Fi was weak.
