Good food, good weather and good company! We were welcomed by a friendly staff who ensured that the check-in ran smoothly. The family room was like a small flat existing out of a large reception/large room with 2 single beds, a desk, TV, fridge, a small bedroom with a double bed and large cupboard, and a main bedroom with a queen/king size bed and a large cupboard, all rooms with balcony. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient in space. Rooms were well maintained with daily housekeeping. Although there was no safe, I can say that I did not feel uncomfortable to leave the ipads or cellular phones charging. Breakfast: There are plenty of croissants, pain au chocolat, and a variety of other pastries. Bread rolls, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, canned fruit, scrambled eggs and sausages. Coffee and juices are from a machine. I know that some hotels from the group do serve 'fresh' coffee or cappuccinos. Lunch: Plenty and good! Lots of starters: salad bars with typical dishes. As first main there are always 3-4 different pastas and a risotto, always prepared differently. Everyday you can choose a pasta with fish/seafood, meat, or vegetarian. I must say that fish/seafood pasta contains quite a lot of fish which you wouldn't find in many other large restaurants. As second main dish there is always a choice between fish and meat, often 2 kinds of each. With your main you can have (depending of the day) potato chips, baked potatoes, fried veggies, and off course you can add a salad to it as well. The seafood especially the frittura is very good with a variety of fish, so not only calamari, and if you're lucky there are even king prawns! The dessert is often some fresh fruits. Same for dinner, although I found that there are less pastas in the evening but than again more and better food for the second main dishes. In the evening they also serve something sweet as dessert, this can be an ice cream, or a tiramisu, or panacotta, etc. The food is really good and of a very good quality. We visited a number of hotels in the group and I must say the food at Village Paradise was by far the best! I also want to express my sincere gratitude to the Maitre, who was always friendly and greeted all the guests with their names! Entertainment: Congratulations to the entire entertainment group! Entertainment starts from 9AM and runs till 12 at night! The day activities are mainly organised on the beach in the morning and at swimming pool in the afternoon. The children are well catered for. Congratulations also to Sergio who takes care of the Live music just after lunch and from 6.30PM. He has a real great voice with a very large range and can imitate many singers from Queen to Andrea Bocelli. I also want to congratulate the main bartender and both ladies. They do a great job, are very friendly and know their job. The Aperol Spritzs are large and good! I really have to applaud the entire staff for their friendliness! I think the director can learn something from it! Lastly something about the rest of the facilities: There are plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds at the beach and the swimming pool. There are plenty of chairs and tables at the bar. There is only internet at the reception, which is slow and often has to be reset. If you position yourself well, you might get some internet connection at the swimming pool.

I choose this hotel to find some calm, sun and good food. My expectations were fullfilled! Hotel is located quite far from any source of entertainment - rental car, opened in June of restaurants, shops, Wi-Fi in the room and so on. This is what at first sight seemed to be terrible, given me, however, very quiet, filled with relaxation stay. The food was delicious, rooms comfortable, animation interesting - I came back from there rested.
