“Very central”

Nice hotel, location was very central and a short walk from the train station. Early check in was helpful. Breakfast of scrambled eggs was nice but prefer fried eggs. Bacon was awful. Large selection of you eat pastries, cheeses if you like continental breakfast.

We were at this hotel with a group on two separate nights. The first room had definitely been updated more recently but both. were fine. The location is the best you could get to see the spectacular Reggia di Caserta, less than a block away. It is in a nice central area for shopping and restaurants. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good including a really good eggplant parmesan. Service was excellent,staff very friendly. Breakfast was what you would expect.

The hotel is located in the heart of Caserta, just a short walk from the Royal Palace, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. An added bonus is the secure on-site parking, which is a real plus if you're traveling by car. The rooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms, but the overall decor and furnishings are a bit dated and could use some refreshing. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options, particularly on the sweet side. Overall, the hotel is adequate and functional. However, for a four-star property, a bit more attention to detail and upkeep would be expected.

The hotel is located in the centre of old town, on Piazza Luigi Vanvitelli, with an easy access to the magnificent Reggia di Caserta palace complex. There is no parking at the front – watch out for the over-zealous warden looking out for victims when arriving and unpacking. A paid-for car park is behind an elaborate gate in the corner of the park, make sure you get a ticket from the reception to qualify for a discount. The reception is on the right, lifts and the breakfast area are straight on. Unusually, the hotel has ironing facilities in the basement. You have to take the lift to the ground floor and then walk across the reception to access downstairs. The interior is very modern and plain. The same can be said of the rooms. Our Superior King Room was very spacious, with large bed and small reception area. For that level of standard we would expect the park view with balcony (as per promotional pictures), instead we got one side window. The room benefitted from good lighting and two wardrobes. The bathroom door was in conflict with the entrance door and we kept slamming the doors against each other every time we tried to exit/enter the room. There was a safe box and WiFi signal was good. TV only had Italian programmes on it. There was only a coffee-making facility. The bathroom was quite small, with walk-in shower. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was plenty of bottled water in the fridge. We dined at Restaurant La Bouganville, which is linked to the hotel, on our first night. The place was empty, and for good reason. The menu was unimaginative though rather expensive, wine list was limited and service distinctly average. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with quite an extensive choice, the cakes were probably the best we had in the whole of Naples. Watch out for closing times as they rigidly stick to deadlines. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
