“Very modern decorated”

Skyhouse Beverello was very modern decorated and clean. It is on the opposite site of the port (molo beverello). We had a ferry to Amalfi so in the morning we walked to the port. It was very near. There are restaurants and cafes around. The owners are friendly. The breakfast was nice.

Skyhouse Hotel impressed us with its modern and stylish design — both the room and the overall ambiance felt fresh and well thought-out. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus during the warm days. We especially loved the location — conveniently situated with a stunning view, particularly from our room on the 7th floor. The only downside was the sound insulation. Despite being quite high up, we could still hear traffic noise and even fireworks at night, which slightly disrupted the otherwise peaceful experience. Overall, a lovely stay with great amenities and beautiful surroundings — just a little improvement in soundproofing would make it perfect!

“Stylish, modern rooms in an old apartment block close to the port”

Ideal location for us as we were being picked up for an Amalfi Coast/Pompeii day trip from the port and had tickets to go to the nearby San Carlo Theatre. Ideal location for us as we were being picked up for an Amalfi Coast/Pompeii day trip from the port and had tickets to go to the nearby San Carlo Theatre. Having arrived by train from Rome at Napoli Centrale, we got on the Metro for 2 stops to Universita station and walked. The rooms are located in an old-fashioned, shared apartment block with a shared ground floor courtyard, staircases and lift but once you are inside the Skyhouse itself, it is ultra-modern, clean and stylish. The friendly owner, whose English was limited but better than our Italian, explained that he lives on site having been there to greet us at check-in. Breakfast was offered at 8am but we had to be out early both morning so we couldn't have any. City tax had to be paid in cash and was €18 for our two-night stay.

This might be one of the weirdest hotel experiences I've ever had. It's not really a hotel, but a B&B on 1 floor of a high-rise near the port. The pictures are accurate - the rooms and public spaces are very nice and well maintained. The owner is great, very attentive and friendly. The building itself is a little odd, with an old, dingy, industrial look. The elevators are tiny and cramped, not to mention give the vibe that they could fail at any time. The main lobby is an odd, dirty, open concrete atrium, and the main entrance is next to a busy alley. The location was a little ugly and dirty, but at the same time very convenient, directly across from the port with easy access to Metro and taxis. It was actually a nice stay, but if you book here just be prepared that it's a little odd at the first impression when you enter.
