Heaven on earth. Vittorie (Victoria) the owner is the most delightful, industrious, warm, amazing woman on the planet! She has literally created heaven on earth. The grounds are beautiful, with the grapes, gardens, flowers, vegetables, cows and her darling dog Luna. The rooms are spacious and completely comfortable. She has antiques all over the place, and they all have a story. One can walk into town, Sant Agata due Golfi, very easily for shopping, pedicures, dining. But you won't want to miss dinner at Le Tore. Vittorie is the most AMAZING chef. We took a cooking class with her one evening, which meant we donned aprons and helped her cook for the guests, including us. We had the most wonderful time in the kitchen with her. The place is magic. You cannot go wrong with booking this place. There is plenty of hiking nearby too if you want that. But make sure you take an extra day to hang around the place and relax. The main room where we dined, when we were not dining outdoors, is cozy, with a fireplace, amazing antiques, and a place where you can meet interesting people from all over the world. We WILL be back. Love this place.

There is nothing I can say against the Agriturismo. Coming here was an incredible, rare experience that took me back to my childhood when I lived in Italy - my tastebuds were garnished with excitement everytime I tried one of their dishes. It is hard to explain or translate exactly what an 'Agriturismo' is especially as it is a purely italian initiative, but the best way I can explain it is: a place that is conducted and brought together by people who are agricultural, gastronomic experts who could tell you exactly in what season you can grow any type of vegetable or the minimal difference between one type of tomato and an other, how to bake with traditional methods, using fresh seasonal ingredients from the area and from the agriturismo itself. During my stay at Le Tore I had the chance to meet all the workers, all working together as a team - from the owner Vittoria to the farmer working in the land nextdoor and it is clear to see how much work they put into this establishment so that their customers are always trying new or traditional dishes and offer a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, where you can disconnect from the rest of the busy, caotic everyday life.

If you are expecting a modernized farmhouse with all the amenities (TV, AC, in-room WiFi, etc.), you’ll be disappointed; if you’re expecting a rustic, comfortable, quiet place far away from all of that, you’ll love it. If you’re expecting gourmet food and 5-star service, you’ll be disappointed; if you’re expecting tasty, simple recipes prepared from organic, fresh ingredients grown on site and served by friendly people who are passionate about what they do, you’ll love it. I was disappointed by the wine but absolutely loved the extra virgin olive oil and fresh fruit products. My girls loved the dogs and the cat, my wife didn’t like them around the dining area, especially with one dog repeatedly.....showing his dominance over the other (use your imagination). The kids complained endlessly about the lack of TV and internet, but the result was then spending a couple of hours each night talking and laughing with each other in the room, which made it a huge plus for me. The cows, roosters and weed whackers made the mornings a little noisy and made sleeping in difficult (it is a farm, after all), but the fresh air and peaceful starry skies made the evenings perfect. Vittoria and her staff were wonderful and welcoming, and provided helpful recommendations for the rest of our journey. I loved it, my family saw it as more of a mixed bag, but like I said at the beginning - it depends on what you are looking for.
