Lovely lovely hotel Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rooms were lovely & clean & food excellent. Quiet location which was brilliant but only 30 mins away from Sorrento by hotels courtesy bus

Our stay at the Hotel O Sole Mio was fabulous. A room with a 180° view of the Bay of Naples/Vesuvius was one to never tired of. The hotel is spotlessly clean with Room Service 5*. All food is very good with varied menu even as a set Half Board, a full alternative menu was available too. (maybe the main course could be a little more inviting). The restaurant staff and bar staff were excellent attending to all our needs 5*+. The hotel pool was beautiful and peaceful set in well maintained gardens. The hotel offered a wide variety of experiences all at prices undercutting the main holiday providers. With the reception staff always on hand to help 5*. The free 30 min shuttle service to Sorrento centre is ideal and the village of St. Agata serves as great option for coffee's, beers and excellent restaurants. (We tried two). The hotel is ideal for walkers and those wanting to explore the surrounding coastlines. Also popular is the Vesper hire on site. All in all the hotel excelled in our expectations fully complimenting our stay. We would highly recommend 👌

We stayed for a week and arrived late we headed to our room and a delicious cold buffet had been left for us so thoughtful we were shown around the next day by Veronica , all the staff were amazing and helpful canidia also on reception the maitre Tony always explained the menu and gave his recommendations the restaurant was delightful plenty of choices highly recommend, the hotel is quiet so glad we didn’t stay in sorrento the views are stunning lovely garden and pool we booked a trip from the hotel to capri and used the shuttle bus to sorrento both busy places the rooms were cleaned every day every wear was immaculate we would definitely stay here again just what we needed after a challenging few months thank you again 🇮🇹 😊

Lovely clean rooms, nice bathroom and the housekeeping service was excellent. Lovely view from the balcony of the sea (don't look around - it's a bit scruffy). The staff in the restaurant were lovely, especially Francesca who looked after us so well despite the heat. We were only half board but the snack bar was nice if a bit pricey and I don't agree with paying a supplement if you want to share a pizza. Seems a very silly rule as it put us off eating there. The local town is a short walk down the hill which we enjoyed, and the Conad supermarket sold lovely little bottles of prosecco (3 for 5 euro) which I filled the mini fridge with. We weren't too keen on Sorrento as it was a bit "samey" but the lemon sorbet in a lemon 🍋 was lovely and we found one for 8 euro. It was much more expensive in Amalfi but the cathedral was nice. The staff in reception were a bit disinterested but I prefer that to being pestered. The pool was small and all one depth (about chest height) which was great for adults but not really for kids. The grass around the pool has ground burrowing bees in it. No-one told us this, and I think this is what the sliders in the rooms are for, but I didn't know and got stung within 10 minutes of arriving at the pool! It would have been nice to be warned!
