Overall experience was excellent. The property is located in very convenient area, clean, and super friendly and attentive staff. The common areas are lovely, the bar, restaurant, and pool all wonderfully comfortable with the smell if citrus tree blooms everywhere. A good value but rooms are small and modest but otherwise beds are comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower. It was a good place for the purposes of our trip.

Just got back from 2 weeks at villa fernanda. Went with my partner and 2 children. The hotel really should be more stars. Its clean, tidy lovely family run hotel. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The pool area was lovely surrounded by lemon trees. Never had a issue getting loungers. The food was lovely even my partner and son enjoyed the meals and there fussy eaters. The staff well I can't thank then enough, they were very helpful, and worked very hard every day. They would bring your drinks down to the pool for you. Nothing was ever too much for them. The hotel is close to bars and restaurants and good transport to other towns. This was our first time in Italy and definitely wont be our last. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody

We stayed at Hotel Villa Fernanda for a week at the beginning of May, and what a gem it turned out to be. It’s a small, family‑run, traditional Italian hotel, and the holiday brochure honestly doesn’t do it justice. The grounds are beautiful, with a small pool surrounded by a peaceful garden full of lemon trees. Sunbeds were always available, which made relaxing incredibly easy. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage and was perfectly comfortable for our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. We had an early excursion to Pompeii, and although it was outside normal breakfast hours, the team made sure we had a full breakfast laid out with all the usual options. That level of care really stood out. The food throughout the week was excellent — wholesome, tasty, and clearly made with pride. The local area is great too. There’s a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, along with plenty of shops and places to eat. Bar Pasticceria Fiorentino looks pricey from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised: two teas and a cake came to only 7 euros. There’s also a lovely walking route to Sorrento. It takes around 25 minutes and does get steep in parts, but the views of Vesuvius are incredible. A reliable bus runs back to Sant’Agata, which makes the trip even easier. Finally, while all the staff were wonderful, Joshua the waiter really shone for us — always smiling, always efficient, and a real credit to the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

I am asking myself did i go to a different hotel then the reviews i read before going,but here is my opinion. The positives were the family that ran the hotel friendly and nice people. The food was standard, but choice limited,if you like pasta everynight you will like it. Our room was not as clean as we thought it should be,mould in shower not good,door knobs hanging off,towels were not good very poor quality. We had a few health and safety issues as well. Sorry but we will not be returning.
