One of the best stays at a hotel, def in our top 5. We truly loved the hotel. It was so pretty and the staff was so nice, professional and helpful. The hotel was so pretty, we loved all of the unique designs and artistic touches all around the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was AMAZING!. High end stores left and right, in the middle of everything but still on a quiet street at night. It was walking distance to just about everything - shops, restaurants (they even gave us a packet with the names of local restaurants with descriptions and location). Only a few minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio and all of the stores. Just over the bridge there was some great historical places to visit. We really had an amazing stay. Can’t wait to go back.

We are so glad that we both started and ended our adventure exploring Tuscany at Il Tornabuoni! In between stays we drove around the hills and vineyards of the countryside, but in Florence we spoiled ourselves with the hospitality, fine cuisine, and creative cocktails of Il Tornabuoni. We have been loyal Hyatt members for many years and this stay served to renew our commitment to the wider brand that includes the unbound collection of which Il Tornabuoni is a part. This hotel had the perfect location for us. We started each day right with outstanding espresso and large, varied breakfast bar and ended each evening with both a pre- and post-dinner cocktail. All staff were outstanding, but I am bad with remembering names. Pasqvale and Francesco served us very well at Il Magnifico, and the doormen and front desk staff always offered a hardy welcome that made us really feel special.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, but there are little things that make it impossible to rate this hotel with five stars. Beautiful hotel in a great location, but there are little things that make it impossible to rate this hotel with five stars. We had a beautiful room that faced the street so it was a lovely view, but it is loud on those streets. There isn't much traffic so it isn't traffic that is the problem. Some might think the endless opera singing by amateurs is beautiful, but I hope you don't mind hearing the music until 10 or 11 at night because it does NOT stop unless it is pouring rain. The windows offer little to no sound proofing from the singing. The hotel has no control over this so just know if they offer you one of the best rooms in the hotel because the room might face this courtyard/street. We had a suite so the bathroom did have a bathtub, but the bathtub AND the sink do not drain. I am not sure why a hotel of this quality/rating wouldn't try to fix their drains, but I hope you don't like standing bath water while you try to shower. The staff is excellent. I can't say enough about how helpful, friendly and responsive every person we met is at Il Tornabuoni. We felt so welcomed each time we entered the hotel by Michael and Jude, but the same is true of the restaurant staff, bell staff and front desk. The other negative is breakfast. This was included with our room rate and we were unable to eat in the hotel restaurant on a couple of days because the restaurant opens late - 7:30. If you have ANY plans to leave the hotel early for a tour - you may have to miss breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast buffet is small. It is good, but not as good or extensive as every other hotel in this type of category. I do recommend this hotel because the staff is excellent and so is the location. The issues with the breakfast, bathroom and singing is annoying, but I would still stay here again because it was so easy to get to so many parts of the city.

Stayed for 2 nights in King (bed) Junior Suite. The room is a good size, not huge, all one room (not a separated space). It's located in a high end area (lots of expensive designer stores all around). Did not eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel so can't review them. The staff are the biggest plus to this property. Everyone, from the doorman to desk staff, was very friendly and helpful. As seems to be true in many European hotels, the rooms had an area to hang clothing with some shelves but no drawers and this area did not have a door so everything is visible all the time. The room has a sleeper sofa if you have a 3rd person (we didn't so don't know how that bed is), but as a sofa it's not that comfortable for sitting. There is a pods-type coffee maker in the room. Ours was partially working, had to keep pressing the button a few times to get a full cup. We reported it to the desk when we left. There's a "refrigerator drawer" as the mini-bar. There was an open space where we put soda or other bottles we bought ourselves to get cool but not a lot of extra space to put things. The rooms had a thermostat so you can control the temperature in the room (not always true in some hotels in Europe). The hotel has 3 elevators. They are "European size" meaning you can get 4-6 people or 2-3 people and their luggage, but for a hotel that has about 60 rooms, this is reasonable.
