“Excellent stay”

Great room, excellent location, was able to walk everywhere but metro just outside if you need. Staff super friendly and helpful. There is a fridge in the room which was restocked daily and also complimentary umbrellas should the weather take a turn

The apartment was modern, nice and clean. It had a stove stop and all essentials needed for cooking, had a microwave, washing machine in bathroom, comfortable bed. The apartment was modern, nice and clean. It had a stove stop and all essentials needed for cooking, had a microwave, washing machine in bathroom, comfortable bed. The B line metro (train) was conveniently close by. There is a security in the premises from the morning to the evening. The apartment was walking distance to tourist attractions in Rome. Ex: Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, shops and restaurants. It was a pleasure to meet the apartment owner, Daniela. She was friendly and professional. We were very pleased with our stay at the Apollo Apartments Colosseo. We recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Rome.

“Fabulous”

The manager was absolutely delightful. Accommodating, polite, helpful, friendly, just lovely. The apartment was huge, offering enough space for us and our two older teenage children to have privacy. The manager was absolutely delightful. Accommodating, polite, helpful, friendly, just lovely. The apartment was huge, offering enough space for us and our two older teenage children to have privacy. The apartment was serviced, clean and extremely comfortable. The only negative was the shower head which was broken. We had to hold the shower head to be able to shower. This and some other minor maintenance needs is the only reason we've rated this as a 4. Otherwise we can't fault it. As we've told others, we stayed in a beautifully presented hotel in another country, where the customer service left me in tears. It was deplorable. Whilst this apartment wasn't as fancy, the customer service clearly put this accommodation as one of the top of our list.

While I love to support family run businesses and I hate to leave any type of negative review, I have to give my honest opinions. I booked this room through tripmasters and it was listed as an apartment. However, we were actually booked only into a room with a small bathroom. I did take a look at the official website as the price seemed to good to be true and only apartments were listed on the official website as well. So I was very disappointed that it was only a room. Secondly, on the official website air conditioning was advertised. However, when checking in the home was very hot and I was informed that they only have AC in the summer. It was in the 80s when we visited in April and I specifically choose a place with AC so I was very upset by this. We had to open the window to make the room tolerable but it is on a very busy street so the street noise very bad. Third, free wifi was advertised and this was very important as my bf owns his own business and had to check his email and be somewhat available to work. The wifi never worked and it caused issues with his business. He ended up paying for high speed data on his phone to get work done. So this cost us more money and time. I want to stress the positives of this business before ending. The family members were very nice. The room was IMMACULATE. I could have probably eaten off the floor, it was that clean. Maid service was good as well. The location was great for walking or jumping on the metro. Overall, it was a very disappointing start and I would not stay or recommend this room as it did not supply the advertised amenities that we needed.
