From the moment we stepped out of the car we were amazed by the beauty of the location ~ situated amidst a Roman Fort and next to a beautiful church. The lady Katie, was very helpful and accommodating. The room had everything we needed, comfortable, with a well stocked mini fridge, proper coffee machine and good air con - it was super hot out. The location was perfect, 30 minute walk would get us anywhere we wanted. The man, Pino, went above and beyond to help us out 😄 Our last night, the roads were all shut off for an event, so we couldn’t get a taxi. Pino gave us a lift down all the back roads to get us to the restaurant we’d booked. Would highly recommend this accommodation ~ great value, location and hosts! Thanks so much 😄

Foro Romano Luxury Suites is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location. Within 20 minutes you can walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, and Trastevere. Just a few minutes away is an absolutely fabulous view of the Roman Forum, even better than photos taken inside the actual site. “Pino” was waiting for us upon arrival and gave us a great overview of how to walk everywhere and later sent me a detailed listing of restaurant recommendations. There are a few restaurants or cafes just steps from the hotel…InRoma (Carbonara), Vigna Roma (great dinner) and the Bull Wine Bar for breakfast or sandwiches. There is also a convenient mini-mart on the corner. We booked Room 106 Prestige with Campidoglio View, which was spacious and comfortable and had a huge picture window view of Rupe Tarpea. There were drawers and a rack for clothing, a safe, mini-refrigerator/bar and a coffee station along with some small breakfast snacks. The bathroom sink area had plenty of space and storage shelving and a lovely shower with chromotherapy light. The bedding was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night. If driving, there is a public parking lot just outside the hotel. You can ask a taxi to drop you off at Piazza della Consolazione and just walk up the stairs…the hotel is on the sidewalk to the right of the church. On our departure date, Catherine came early to help us with our taxi ride…much appreciated! We enjoyed the hospitality and Pino and Catherine and would not hesitate to recommend Foro Romano Luxury Suites for your Rome stay!

Debbie and I stayed at the Foro Romano Luxury Suites for our 25th wedding anniversary. Pino greeted us on arrival at the hotel and provided a helpful overview of the area. He carried our bags to our corner suite hotel room which had a picturesque view of the Capitoline Hill. In wanting a cappuccino prior to starting our first day of exploring, Pino recommended a café a few minutes away with spectacular views of the area – a great way to start the trip! The hotel is within walking distance of key points of interest including the Colosseum, and a variety of restaurants. During our one week stay, Pino and Cathrine were available for questions or requests. The day before leaving, Pino offered and arranged a taxi to the airport. On departure day, Cathrine assisted in carrying our bags to the car. Thank you, Pino and Catherine, for making our stay during a positive memorable experience!

“Nice quaint hotel with 5-star service!”

This is a lovely boutique hotel. We loved the nice and tranquil location and were close to so many attractions like the Colosseum, the lookout for the Roman Forum, and the Vittoriano monument. This is a lovely boutique hotel. We loved the nice and tranquil location and were close to so many attractions like the Colosseum, the lookout for the Roman Forum, and the Vittoriano monument. We also walked to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps from the hotel. Our room was well-kept. The service was excellent. They have free snacks and water in the room. The Owner is very personable and helpful. They offer an airport pick up and drop off at a very reasonable price. The reason for 1 star off is the size of the room. It was a small guest room. They may have other rooms which are spacious but were not available during the time of booking. There are great local restaurants a few steps away with reasonable pricing.
