We spent 6 nights at this hotel (2 adults, and a 12 year old).We had a great room, hotel was well located, nice amenities. I would recommend, but I think the hotel might be due for a refresh soon. Here the particulars: Location: Less than a one minute walk from Termini station (Via Gioberti ends right at Termini). Hard to beat - easy access to airport (via the Leonardo express) as well as all the metro lines and major bus routes, meaning easy access to anything in Rome. If you're feeling ambitious for walking, major sites (coloseum, etc) are generally between 1-1.5km away (Vatican or Trastavere were too far to walk to practically) but its nice to have the convenient option to hop on a bus or take the metro as needed. I've seen other reviews commenting that the area around Termini is "sketchy" but at least as far where this hotel is, we didn't feel unsafe at all. For one thing, there are hotels - including plenty of 4 star/higher end hotels EVERYWHERE around there, as well as plenty of nice restaurants, in addition to the tourist shops, etc so there is nearly constant activity on the street. I have to think that the people suggesting it was "scary" around there haven't spent much time in Europe or in large cities. Just in case, however, the hotels (including this one) have what appears to be security guards out front. There wasn't a minute that we felt unsafe in the hotel area. Hotel/Room: Hotel is a proper 4 star in terms of amenities, 24/7 front desk, security out front, free wifi. Breakfast was good - nice variety (no cook to order - which I saw more for information sake than criticism). Hotel also has a gym, which is rare (and something my wife appreciated). Hotel has a reception area but no bar or lounge on site. The room we stayed in was a Suite. The room was huge - almost 500 sq feet, with a separate bedroom (with Queen sized bed) and a large living room area (with a double-sized sofa bed). The real game changer for us though was that the room had 2 full bathrooms (with toilet sink and shower) with the main bathroom having two sinks. We never felt cramped with was key for a longer stay like ours was. Wifi was strong. That being said, there were signs that the room (and hotel) was in need of a refresh - water pressure in the "2nd"bathrooms was poor as was the water pressure in one of the sinks in the main bathroom, but not enough to prevent it being used. The lighting in the room wasn't great. Noticeable cracks in the walls. Also, given the hotel's location on a busy street in a busy area, the soundproofing needs to be meaningfully upgraded - definitely impacted our sleep. This is not to say I regret my stay or wouldn't stay again - these are more suggestions for improvement. My critiques also reflect the reality of what is clearly a busy hotel in a busy City and I'm sure many other hotels in the area would have similar issues (not a lot of "new" hotels around there). Overall, we were still happy with our stay and don't regret making the booking. But, I point these out mostly for the sake of managing expectations.

Good location close to the Roma Termini station and within walking distance of the colosseum and other famous locations. Area is a bit scruffy but we didn't feel unsafe walking around in the evening. Our room (purple executive) was a good size with a settee. Slightly lacking in hangers, 3 each and the light didn't work over the tea area making it a little difficult to see what you were doing. The bathroom is a good size with nice towels but it does let the hotel down. The shower controls are hard to move between the bath, shower head and rain shower options. On day one we had no hot water. It (!?) had been turned off according to management. The next 4 days the water was tepid but warm enough for a shower. On our last day when at breakfast we decided that there were less guests staying in the hotel we had hot water. It is a shame because this seems to be a recurring issue with the hotel according to reviews. It is also a noisy area at night but I think you'd have to be further away from the centre of Rome if you wanted a peaceful night. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Mostly continental but scrambled eggs and sausages each morning. The only coffee machine has a bit of a queue each morning and if you want to fill the teapot it holds up everyone because it takes 3 goes to get enough hot water. Another machine would be helpful. Overall the location and price was the reason we chose this hotel. Staff were all very helpful and friendly especially at breakfast.
