Being able to walk to the Colosseum and other iconic sites within minutes made our experience incredibly special. The hotel is impeccably clean, and every space is maintained with great attention to detail. The staff are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making you feel genuinely cared for throughout your stay. One of the highlights is the stunning panoramic restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious meals with breathtaking views over the city — an unforgettable experience, especially at sunset. The décor is elegant yet warm, with a classic style that makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. I had an excellent stay at Hotel Forum, perfectly located in the heart of Rome just steps from the Roman Forum and within easy walking distance of the Colosseum. The hotel itself has a classic charm that reflects the character of Rome, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. What really made our stay stand out, however, was the rooftop restaurant. Enjoying breakfast and evening drinks with panoramic views over the Roman Forum was an unforgettable experience and a real highlight of our trip. The whole staff were consistently friendly, attentive and happy to help with recommendations, making me feel genuinely looked after from arrival to departure of my business trip. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines location, character and warm hospitality, Hotel Forum is a great choice indeed — I would happily return.

“Location is key”

We went to Rome for 4 nights and chose the Hotel Forum due to its location close to all the sites we wanted to see. As expected the location is perfect you are close to everything but a sones throw from the Colleseum and and the roof top bar and resturant actually overlooks the Forum. We were on a bed and breakfast basis although we only made Breakfast twice as days start early in Rome to beat the crowds, that said the breakfast was good although the coffee was in my opinion disappointing. We were in a Suite and this was huge with a big bathroom with a bath and shower and a nice sitting room area, we were on the 4th floor and there was no street noise as the hotel is on a quiet roa, there was however, some noice in the morning with chairs being scrapped on the floors in the restaurant. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar and we wnet there a couple of times for a drink, I felt the prices of drinks were way too expensive and we live in London, yes you are overlooking the Forum but 20 euros for a cocktail or Aperol Spritz was excessive, 14 euros for a beer and a Jameson Black barrel was 26 euros surely this is self defeating and if it was cheaper more of the guests would visit the bar, we also only discovered on our last night that Hotel residents get a small discoint, this isnt mentioned on the drinks menu and no one asked us if we were residents. We didnt eat in the restaurant in the evening although again this looked pricey and there are lots of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk Overall for the location and the quality of the rooms I would recommend this Hotel but be prepared for the bar prices.

No denying this is an excellent location, the hotel itself lives up to four stars, the staff are amazing and the rooftop breakfast was a highlight. My room (222) however, not great. Backed onto the lift so constant clunks and bangs with loud talking from people waiting for the lift. The bed was a sofa, quite hard and not too comfortable. The "excellent views" promised on the website, non existent as I looked out onto the centre of the building where machines chucked out foul smells. The room was constantly dark so really felt like I was in a closet. I think this likely should have been a store room, to be fair, I didnt complain, I have social issues and couldn't face it so unsure if it would have been corrected.
