Excellent location. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. You have to negotiate 4 steps to the lift. Approximately 15-20 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain. Great buffet style breakfast. Hotel staff very friendly and helpfu.

While visiting Rome we booked our stay here. Having never been to Rome before we didn’t have a point of reference for where to stay, but we chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of so many attractions. Once we arrived, we enjoyed how quick the walk was to places like The Coliseum, The Pantheon, Piazza Novana, Trevi Fountain, etc. Checking in was very quick and easy and the young lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The young man working there was also very helpful and friendly. He assisted us in bringing our luggage up to the level where our room was. Additionally, he assisted us with checking out and getting our luggage outside. When we checked out there was some sort of public transportation strike and we couldn’t find a cab to hail. We also couldn’t use Uber, as those were not replying to our requests via the app. So, he walked us up the taxi stand to look for a cab, when we noticed there were none and there was a long line of people waiting, we took the metro. He assisted us with getting down into the station and with buying the ticket too. Their service here goes above and beyond! Even the lady working the breakfast buffet was very helpful. She made our coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice, as well as answered questions and helped with anything else. The property is interesting as it’s very modern, yet it’s set in a very old building. The room we got was tiny, but had all the amenities you would need, as well as a hot tub, bidet, large TV, etc. The bed was firm and nicely comfy too. Everything in the room was operational and new. Breakfast was included and it was pretty nice. It featured locally made items and baked goods. Definitely would recommend a stay here when visiting the area!

We stayed at this property for two nights on our way travelling through the area. We have stayed in Rome before and this location is excellent. It is a short walk to the Trevi fountain as well as the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. It was about a 25 minute walk to the Coliseum, and a short ten to fifteen minute taxi ride to and from the train station. There were numerous decent restaurants close by to choose from. The hotel itself is nice and appears to have been recently renovated with modern decor and features. Rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was included and we found the variety and quality of food was great. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful and were able to give some restaurant recommendations close by. We were there a short time and it was a positive experience with no issues.

I have not written a review in a while but decided to write this one because I found this hotel a bit of a shock. First, the good. The location is great, the staff were nice and the hotel was clean. It is close to a Metro stop, with easy access to the airport and close to many of the most popular tourist attractions. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Second, the rest. This is NOT a 4 star hotel by any standards I have ever seen. I have traveled in Europe for years and now live in France. I understand 4 stars does not mean the same thing in Europe as it does in most other countries. However, I have never seen a hotel like this call itself 4 stars. This is a guesthouse / hotel, at best. The hotel itself seems to occupy at least 2 floors of an older building. Reception is on the 3rd floor and is only staffed until 10pm. After that, unless you want to call the staff at home, you are on your own. Our room was on the second floor, which is shared with a doctor's office. While there is an elevator, you have to go up a few steps to get to it. The exposed stairwell, which most of the guests appear to use to get to the rooms, is old and dirty and doesn't look like anyone has made an effort to brighten it up in the past 50 years. Our room, as were most if not all the others on our floor, was right off the breakfast room/vacant reception desk. Our room was a triple, which consisted of 2 twins pushed together to make a "king" and a Murphy bed in the wall. The room was large, clean but very basic. There were robes and slippers but very cheap/basic bathroom amenities, paper cups and a hot water kettle for tea. No tissues, no wash cloths. I made the reservation through the hotel website and paid 395€ for each of the 4 nights we stayed. While at the hotel, I looked online and saw rooms available for 150€ and under. I admit those rates were not for what was billed as our "triple room", but still. Overall, the hotel was basic and served its purpose. At 200€ or less, I would have found the hotel OK. At 395€ per night, I expected more and was disappointed. The photos on the website and reality of the hotel simply don't match. If you decide to stay here, temper your expectations before arrival.
