“Wonderful service during a last minute stay”

A group of 9 of us including 5 teenagers and 1 dog were scrambling to find a place to stay after being turned away at our Airbnb at check out. The previous guest had covid and was still in the apartment when we came to check in and the host did not let us know. After a search on Expedia we called Residenza Cavalinni to make sure they would be able to accommodate our large group and a small dog. No problem they said so we packed up our car again, loaded everyone in and showed up on the hotel. It’s on the 5th floor of a building with street parking. Bruno could not have been more gracious. He suggested one room with a balcony so our dog can have fresh air and we got two rooms each with a queen and bunk beds. The majority of our group was leaving for the airport at 3am so didn’t even sleep so the room size was perfect. Our teenagers hung out in the lounge area in the evening playing Uno and taking advantage of the hot chocolate from the machines. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Castel San’Angelo and a little bit under 15 minutes to the Vatican and Piazza Navona. There are also many restaurant options around. We want to sincerely thank this team again for their hospitality and the service they provided for us even for such a short stay. Special thanks to Bruno for being so kind and welcoming. We definitely will come back the next time we are in Rome as a family.

“Perfect city break hotel”

We visited for two nights in January 2024 and would highly recommend staying here for a city break in Rome! LOCATION The surrounding area isn’t “touristy” which is a nice atmosphere and makes local restaurants more affordable. About 15 minute walk to Vatican, 15 minutes across the bridge to the shopping area. The hotel itself is located on the 5th Floor of a big apartment building, it is probably easy to miss to keep an eye out! ROOM The standard room is an average size but had mostly everything we needed. Bed is very comfy which is always great after a long day of adventure. The room came with a sofa, kettle, open wardrobe, safe (included), mini fridge (included) then a bathroom including a big spacious shower, toilet, sink and bidet. BREAKFAST Breakfast was included in our stay. It was very basic but had everything we needed. Yogurts, fresh fruit, mini rolls with meats, cereal, croissants and juices. SERVICE The gentlemen at check in was lovely and very helpful when pointing out things to do. I would point out a few things: * Shampoo isn’t included in the shower * There was only one bin (in the bathroom), would be nice to have another in the bedroom for food/ kettle * No USB chargers (no issue , just to point out) * Rooms aren’t soundproof at all * Curtains do let light in and aren’t completely black out * Food doesn’t have any descriptions

“Average place don’t expect much”

We stayed in room 11 last week, all I can say it is not a hotel you can call it a sharing apartment as it a floor in a building, AC wasn’t working good at all and I got no answer when I said it not working properly plus no body clean our room for two days.
