“Nice family break at Rome Garden Hotel”

Was wary at first after reading various reviews but the hotel was fine and suited us for what we needed. Our room was on the 4th floor, there was a lift and on arrival the room was fresh and clean, massive queen bed and also two singles which was perfect for our family of four (quadruple room). C… more

“Good”

So I was a little dubious about this hotel !! Booked with confidence after reading the good reviews however along came some negativity. However I will speak as I found , as a lone parent with two teenagers I couldn’t fault the place, I did contact them prior to ask if I could stay in the main part … more

“Lovely hotel, just too quiet and far from city centre”

The location is further away from the city centre than we expected. To walk would be about 40 minutes which was ok but in 36 degree heat it took its toll sometimes so we got cabs quite often. The was no atmosphere at all. It advertised a bar in the evening but it was held in the same garden as bre… more

Breakfast was good and i would say something for everyone tastes. Lovely outdoor area . Fridge in room. Booked through Hayes tra… more

Key features of the moderation of reviews

There is an automatic system that detects offensive language, in which case the review will not be published. If an owner reports one of the reviews, the review will be re-evaluated and, if it fails to comply with our content standards, it will be taken down.

Our criteria for collecting guest reviews

After getting home from the trip booked with us, the customer will receive an email asking them to review different aspects of each of the services booked. The system only allows the booking holder to complete this review and only once.

When will my review appear on the website?

Reviews typically take less than 24 hours to appear on our website. The process may take longer if our team of moderators have to examine the review in more detail.

How long will my review stay on the website?

Once it has been published, your review will automatically appear in the summary of reviews and if it is considered a featured review (based on publication date, length and quality of content), the complete review will also appear. Said review will not appear or will disappear from the system if it contains offensive language or if it is reported.

Can I get a reward for my opinion?

No. Reviews written in exchange for personal rewards such as gifts, services, or money will be taken down.

Can a review be edited?

No, once a review has been written, it cannot be edited. If you want it taking down, you can ask to have it deleted and not republished again.

Will my review appear on other websites or publications?

Once published, all or some of the reviews written by our members may be used on some of our partner sites or in promotional material in general.

If I write a review about a service, can the provider contact me about it?

No, as the personal data of the booking holder writing the review will not be shared with any service providers being reviewed. In the featured reviews shown, only the booking holder's first name will appear, meaning that there's no way that the service provider can contact you.

Our room was on the 4th floor, there was a lift and on arrival the room was fresh and clean, massive queen bed and also two singles which was perfect for our family of four (quadruple room). Clean bathroom, 2 towels each and a selection of bathroom goods. Plenty of hot water and the air-con was very good which was a god-send as it was extremely hot both day and night. Clean white bedding and comfy beds. Our room had its own terraces which was nice for us to sit and have a natter! TV in room but we didn’t use it. There were certain areas that needed tidying up/freshened up but feel that is perhaps an ongoing project of the hotel. We tried to get out early every morning to avoid the crowds/heat so only had breakfast on our last morning, girls had cereal and I had croissants & coffee which were all good. Reception helped us when we needed to book a cab and were all friendly. All in all a nice place for a short family break. Only negative was the distance from sights, would have been walkable if it hadn’t have been so hot. We downloaded the Freenow app and they were very reliable :-)
