We were there for four nights together with some friends.When we came to the hotel tired and warm.We came by car.The staff took care of the car and parked it in the hotelarea.They brought up all our bagage to the room.All staff was extremly nice and willing to serve us.The breakfast was not included in our booking.But we was offered to eat for free.This is one of the best hotelservice we have been in touch with.Thanks to the staff.

“Nice Hotel in Alassio”

The hotel is nice but a little bit dated, decent size room good for a week holiday!! No frills and luxuries are provided such as drinks and cable. Breakfast is served, good for people love French and Italian food! Fresh fruit, a la carte ham and cheese toast, cappuccino and espresso!

I will start by saying this is not the type of hotel we would normally be drawn to. However, we did want to visit Alassio and were guided by the reviews and limited by what was available. The lobby area has obviously received some attention. It is pleasant, clean and attractive. There is ample parking out the back and although we became "hemmed in" our car had been brought close to the door for our fairly early departure. This was appreciated. The staff, and I assume owner, were pleasant on check-in. In particular one woman (sorry I didn't hear her name) who went over and beyond to advise us where to go and what to look for. When we returned to the hotel we enquired about eating there in the evening. Be aware you have to advise if you wish to do this. We were informed that we were told this earlier as this was not a "normal" restaurant (neither of us remembered any such conversation). We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable enough that we ate elsewhere both in the evening and for breakfast. The lift is tiny and painfully slow. But at least there is a lift which made luggage transport easier. The room however was a major disappointment. It was clean, in fact whatever cleaner they had used left a residue smell that made it necessary to open the doors. I am not sure what it was but the smell was similar to bleach. The furnishings are dated and scruffy. Lights didn't work, and the bed was unbearably hard. I had a disturbed nights sleep due to noise and woke sore due to the bed. As I said this is not the normal type of hotel we choose. This is not the hotels fault. But because of this I would definitely not recommend travellers, such as ourselves (we like to sleep well and comfortably) stay here and would not return by choice.
