“Bit tired but could be beautiful”

Old hotel and a bit tired in places but could be beautiful with a little money spent on it. Old hotel and a bit tired in places but could be beautiful with a little money spent on it. I asked to change our room to a sea view as the first room offered to us overlooked the car park and a tree. The man on reception was very helpful but could do with being a bit more cheerful. Beautiful high ceilings though and an enormous door in the first room offered. The sea view room we took was basic but clean although the bed did go downhill. Breakfast in the morning was basic and not self service, you could however eat out on the Terrace at the front of the hotel which was lovely. Staff helpful but could maybe smile a bit more!

“Lovely family owned hotel which has everything you need.”

A lovely traditional hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good selection at Breakfast with a variety of coffee. Pleasant service from most staff, one grumpy fellow but that was more to do with officious behaviour. Room and bathroom very clean, had a Sea View room but there was a concrete balcony so… more

A lovely traditional hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good selection at Breakfast with a variety of coffee. Pleasant service from most staff, one grumpy fellow but that was more to do with officious behaviour. Room and bathroom very clean, had a Sea View room but there was a concrete balcony so when you sat down you didn’t see anything. Beach Restaurant was very nice with very helpful beach staff and lunch staff. Good selection with fresh fish grilled. The use of sunbeds was 30eur for two beds and an umbrella. The charge to use the indoor pool for a limited time of 90 mins was new to us.

The hotel is quite old and in need of refurbishment, but the location is quite convenient, close to the airport, to the motorway and to the sea. The hotel is quite old and in need of refurbishment, but the location is quite convenient, close to the airport, to the motorway and to the sea. It has a parking at the back which is absolutely necessary if you travel car. The ample lobby opens on a panoramic terrace and if you cross a busy road, you're on the beach. Our room was on the third floor and no frills, as to be expected in a there-star. The bed was hard but clean, we had two pillows, both quite flat, the shower was minimal but working. On the other hand we had a great view. Breakfast was in a rather large room on the right from the lobby and inclusive of the usual croissants, cold cuts, yogurt, etc... The hotel is used by one of the local football clubs and when we stayed a whole bunch of youngster was also around, to make the place lively. The hotel restaurant works also independently and it's quite new. We had dinner there'd we really enjoyed the local food served nicely and at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. Altogether was a relatively good stay if you keep your expectations low and enjoy the scenery.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over after landing late in Genoa Airport. The hotel is dated and needs some updating. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel room was clean. We had a large room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) with two bathrooms. The air con worked well. Breakfast was good and staff kept replenishing the food though never the boiled eggs! On site parking available. Ate in a fabulous pizzeria round the corner.

Stayed for two nights in a room for four (family). Rooms are spacious, with very high ceilings and tall windows - a masterpiece if to renovate (the price would have then being very different). We stayed in the side with sea views, that was wonderful, breakfast was wonderful, in an open terrace towards the sea. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking at the rear side if there is enough room. Recommend.
