My husband and I have been coming to Splendido for years, and every visit feels like returning to a very special place. This year, the combination of the beautiful renovation and the outstanding service throughout the hotel—from the bar and restaurant to the pool area and spa - made our stay particularly special. The renovation has been beautifully executed, preserving all of the hotel’s elegance, character, and timeless charm while giving it a fresh new energy. A special thank you to Maina Macri and Federico Paolella. Their leadership is clearly reflected in both the bar and the main restaurant. What stood out most was not only the professionalism and consistency of the service, but also the personal attention they gave us throughout our stay. Both Maina and Federico took the time to understand our preferences, requirements and accommodate our specific needs, always with warmth, genuine care, patience and kindness. They made us feel truly welcome, valued, and at home. In luxury hospitality, beautiful surroundings are important, but it is people who create lasting memories. Their dedication, attention to detail, and sincere desire to make guests happy did not go unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for everything they did to make our stay so special. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Katia, the Spa Manager. She is exceptional - gracious, welcoming, accommodating, and always ready to help with a smile. Her professionalism is matched by genuine kindness, and she contributes enormously to the overall guest experience. Every interaction with her was a pleasure. Another special mention goes to Vlad, the pianist. The evenings at Splendido would simply not be the same without him. His music, singing, charm, and ability to engage with guests create a magical atmosphere night after night. He brings energy, elegance, and personality to every performance, and listening to him is always one of the highlights of our stay. He is a wonderful entertainer and an important part of what makes the hotel so memorable. Overall, Splendido continues to be one of the most special hotels we have ever visited. The setting is breathtaking, the atmosphere feels like something out of a fairytale, and the level of hospitality remains exceptional. The only area where I feel there is room for improvement is the front desk experience, which did not quite match the outstanding standard set by the teams in the bar, restaurant, pool area, spa, and throughout the rest of the hotel. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay so memorable. We are already looking forward to returning.
