“Quite a pleasent experience”

Very nice and clean room but very poor wi-fi coverage. Which was time consuming and irritating. To be able to connect you have to go to the reception area. No coverage in our room! Very nice and clean room but very poor wi-fi coverage. Which was time consuming and irritating. To be able to connect you have to go to the reception area. No coverage in our room! Breakfast is ok-ish. But leaves room for improvement. However, the dinner was a very pleasent surprise. The food was very good! You need transport (car, bicycle, moped) to access hotel, since it is quite far from downtown. Be very careful when driving in and out of the premises, since there is a very badly positioned signed blocking the view on a very tight corner! Victoria&GLenn

An unbiased rating would be 2.5 and everything about this property is about compromise. All in all, for a decent price you get private parking and A/C, that is if you can handle the mold that overruns the place. One of the owners is open, friendly and kind, staying later than usual to accommodate an unannounced late arrival. The other owner seems more cold and distant, although we did get a free coffee after missing the breakfast deadline. - You get included breakfast but the only thing fresh about it is the coffee. Everything else is just mediocre products unwrapped and displayed in a buffet manner. Some were unwrapped the day before and that is noticeable. - You get free WiFi but the reception is terrible. - You get free parking but the entrance is very steep and placed in the middle of a curve on a main road. - You get what is supposed to be themed rooms but the furniture is basic and there is no feeling of uniqueness. - We got some garden space but it does not seem maintained, it's full of insects and the garden furniture is completely neglected. - You get daily cleaning but there is dust building up on the wire of the bathroom hairdryer. - You get a bidet but the shower is so small you keep hitting stuff with your elbows, it's moldy, looks dirty and the shower head is broken. - You get A/C but there are no insect nets on the windows. - You get an in-house restaurant but it has a fixed menu, you need to order in advance and the dining room has a distinctive mold odor. - You get free bikes to explore the surrounding areas but they are rusty. - You are close to the train station but it's a long walk to the center of the village and the local beach.
