“Great 4 days”

We stayed here for 4 nights, travelling with our 2 teenage daughters. We had 2 lake view rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Comfortable beds. Lovely having a balcony over looking the lake. We stayed here for 4 nights, travelling with our 2 teenage daughters. We had 2 lake view rooms. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Comfortable beds. Lovely having a balcony over looking the lake. The pool area was nice to hang out in our free time, you can order drinks and snacks from the bar to be delivered to your sunbed. Nice to have breakfast outside on the terrace, there was enough choice at breakfast Location was perfect, right on the lake and only a short walk into town, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, also close to the ferry’s to get across the lake It was perfect for us as Desenzano is lively enough for 2 teenage girls.. plenty of shops , and an easy location to explore the southern end of the lake

“Clean and great location ”

The hotel was very clean and the choice at breakfast had something to suit everyone. I would recommend a handrail at the pool and a window covering in the bathroom. Enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the ferries and centre of town.

Pros: 1. Nice staff; 2. Good breakfast buffet; 3. Large comfortable bed with pillows; 4. Good water pressure with plenty of hot water in the shower. Cons: 1. Musty smell in room that never went away; 2. Outdated furniture and upholstery; 3. Holes in curtains; 4. Empty Kleenex container (saving m… more

Only 1 coffee serving for in-room coffee (more saving money?); 6. Very small shower stall; 7. Outdated bathroom.

We stayed at the Hotel Lido International for three nights (end September/beginning October 24) Staff are friendly/helpful and speak good English. Our room was rather tired and dull. Fridge had water, can of beer, can of coke etc. Shower was good, powerful and hot. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choice including fresh fruit, yogurts, grains, cereals, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, cooked meats, juices, tea, coffees, toast, bread and cakes. However once the selection has gone the hotel doesn’t appear to replenish so I’d advise to arrive early. The hotel location is good. Right on the lake side and only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Desenzano. The weather was conducive to using the pool facilities but it looked okay, if a bit tired.
