We stayed here for one week as a family with our 11-year-old daughter. Our journey started with some problems. We flew into Milan Bergamo Airport. Two days before our flight, we had rented a car for €160. We received an email saying we had to wait for confirmation, but just before our flight we received another email saying that our booking had been cancelled because they no longer had any available cars. We quickly booked another car, but the cheapest option was already €360. The money was taken from our account, but we never received a confirmation. After landing, we checked our account and the money had been refunded, but we received no explanation. We were left without transport. At Milan Bergamo Airport, the car rental companies were only offering cars from around €700. We decided to travel by buses instead. For three people and three buses, we spent €60. Our journey became much longer than expected. We landed at 1:30 pm and only arrived at the hotel at 8:30 pm. As we arrived late and missed dinner, the hotel staff kindly offered to bring some food to our room. Unfortunately, it never arrived, which was disappointing after such a long journey. However, when we left the hotel, they prepared three bags of food for us, which was a lovely gesture and allowed us to have breakfast at the airport. For our return journey, we booked a taxi through the hotel. The price was €235 plus an additional €40 night charge. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and peaceful area. It took us around 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Limone. Halfway there, we found a small CONAD supermarket (approximately 750 metres or a 10-minute walk from the hotel). The hotel provides a free minibus to the town centre. The last bus leaves at 7:15 pm. The hotel has a private beach. I would recommend everyone to bring water shoes because the beach is very rocky. You can buy water shoes there for €10 for children and €14 for adults. In Limone centre, you can also rent a boat without needing a member of staff inside. My husband does not have a boat licence, but this was not a problem for them. During our stay, there were many Polish and German guests staying at the hotel. We also noticed that quite a few members of the restaurant staff were Polish. As we did not have a car, we took the ferry to Riva del Garda. For two adults and one child, we paid €31 return. Now about the hotel food. Honestly, I have never stayed in a hotel where there were no desserts or cakes available during lunch – only ice cream. Breakfast and dinner had a small selection, but the desserts were tasty. At breakfast we really missed fried eggs. There were only boiled eggs and scrambled eggs(which were not very tasty) and was other food. Lunch had a very limited choice. I struggled to find something I liked, so chips, pasta and very thick pizza became our main options. Dinner was usually a large piece of roasted meat, such as pork knuckle, or another type of roasted meat. The taste was very good, but unfortunately, there was never a steak or something more varied. One thing that surprised us positively was that the coffee machine works until 11 pm, so you can have as much coffee as you want, whenever you want 🙂 There was also a kettle in our room. In the evenings, with the drinks, there were small packets of crisps available, which was a great snack for children and also nice to have with a drink. You can also have ice cream and cupcakes whenever you like. The evening entertainment was quite basic – usually either live music or some games. The children’s mini disco was very small and simple. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday despite a few negative points. The location and views are absolutely beautiful, and we have many lovely memories from our stay. Next time, we would probably choose a hotel closer to cafés and shops, because if you do not want to stay only inside the hotel grounds, there is not much to do nearby.

The hotel is situated right on the front of limone sul garda and the views are stunning. On entry , the hotel lobby is clean and air conditioned which after a 2 hour journey from the airport in 34 degree heat was welcome . We arrived early but the staff allowed us to use the facilities straight away. The journey to our room was a bit of a hike , having to tackle 4 flights of different stairs , two lifts ( which are very small ) and a long. Steep hill , and when i say steep , its steep ) i have two knee replacements and arthiritis in my feet and hips , so this really tested me and come the end of the week i actually had mixed emotions about leaving . Accomodation was clean if not a bit dated ( think a 90s sitcom) but our cleaner was spot on with her duties ( we were in 5310 and i believe her name was rosa) the view from our room was stunning , treating us to a clear view of lake garda. The staff were friendly , helpful and i must mention Angelo,part of the entertainment team who was a breath of fresh air , someone who took his role professionaly and with genuine enjoyment . Breakfast seemed a bit samey but in a different country you have to adapt and to be fair they did try to accomodate . Lunch time we normally ate out but if we were around a chip butty or 5 did the trick . Dinner times was usually pasta , plenty of salad and fruit and a carvery of pork or beef (sadly no roast potatoes and gravy) . There was a variety of drinks on offer including limoncello , whisky , rum , lager etc etc and soft drinks as well . My only qualm would be the bar closing bang on 11.00 which led to a mass charge too fill up empty bottles with as booze as possible. The shuttle service wasnt to reliable and could get quite full and the usual suspects who neither have manners or know how to queue would try and push in , so be prepared to protect your posistion . All in all it was a nice holiday , relaxing and allways food and drink on hand

For the most part this hotel looks great and is in an absolutely stunning location. The staff are fine, the pools are nice and the hotel is clean and neat. The booking is sold as all inclusive but if you are used to all inclusive this is not it. Very specific timings for food and drink being available. The choice of food is not great and is generally cold. The cocktails from the bar where you have to pay are excellent. Our room and bathroom was ok clean and tidy could do with some modernising. The rooms are all on different levels and a,though there are lifts I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues. Having said all that it is the location that you want. The views are stunning. There is a regular free bus that takes you in to town and back where the choices for food and drink are amazing. You can walk it to town which can be intense when it’s very hot but plenty of places to stop for a drink on the way if you want. Beware the outdoor pools and the lake are very cold.
