“Quiet boutique hotel with great design.”

This boutique hotel is stunning! Not to mention the rooms exceptionally quiet. A perfect contrast to the loud bustling streets. Incredible value for a hotel that should be classified as 5 stars due to design, newly appointed rooms, quietness & size.

My wife and I have just spent four nights at the WH Casati 18, staying in a double standard room (room only). Fantastic boutique hotel, feels very modern, stylish and looks immaculate throughout. Our double room was beautiful, extremely comfortable beds and equipped with all the essentials such as AC, safe, coffee maker and a kettle for T&C. Fully stocked mini bar. The rooms feel well designed and provided a multitude of lighting, switches, reading lights and USB A and C charging ports. The decor of the whole place is beautiful. Located around 800 metre’s from Milan Central Train station, there’s plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby including Carrefour Express grocery store. Easy access to many transport options including the tram, metro, taxi services and buses. I found the Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful with various queries during our stay. The nightly turndown service left little boxes of sweets on the bed which is a nice touch. The bathroom had a lovely powerful full walk-in shower with plenty of toiletries and lots of hotel branded towels piled under the sink along with a couple of dressing gowns and slippers giving it a luxury feel. We did not eat at the hotel, as we wanted to explore the local food scene and visited some great cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, however we did enjoy the cocktails at the bar. Wonderful hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, nothing bad to say and would highly recommend.

I stayed here recently and overall I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from Milano centrale train station and is a perfect base if you are exploring more areas of Italy. In the opposite direction, it is approximately 25-30 minutes walk to the duomo. The staff checked us in very quickly and all were polite and very welcoming. The hotel decor is modern, clean and at night it is fairly quiet which is always a plus when staying in a city! I only had a few minor improvements. The first is, there was no maps or information in the room. We had to use our phones to navigate into the centre of Milan as there were no directions on how to get to the duomo or any information on other things to explore in the area. I scanned the QR code on the TV which is meant to be a digital guide but I couldn't find a map and the information was limited. The lack of information in the room meant I wasn't aware there was even a gym until I stepped in the lift and saw it on a poster. Its a little thing but when you are a tourist it helps alot, even if the map is on the wall to give guests an idea of whats in the area and ammenities at the hotel. Secondly, the only other thing is a lack of signs in the hotel. I know they are finishing off the refurbishing so maybe this will be done later but on my first day I exited down the stair well. I then came to three doors (one led to reception, one to the toilets and one elsewhere). I thought I was in the wrong place and so did other tourists who had also exited down the stairwell with me, a sign saying exit/reception this way so I knew what door to go through would also help people navigate the hotel better. Other than these small things, I highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for providing us with a lovely place to stay.
