Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are basic but very clean with daily service. Good buffet breakfast with fair amount of choice. Fantastic pool with bar area and plenty of comfortable loungers, umbrellas and side tables

“A great week in Sirmione.”

What a lovely place to spend a week. The location is perfect. For enough away from the town to be really peaceful but near enough to walk into town in a few minutes. What a lovely place to spend a week. The location is perfect. For enough away from the town to be really peaceful but near enough to walk into town in a few minutes. The pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. A pool bar serving drinks, salads and delicious pizzas. Some nice little terraces where you can have a drink or evening meal. A 4 course meal was 32€ and pretty good. Breakfast was good with choice of sweet and savoury. And good coffee. We had a lake view room and unlike the previous reviewer we had a safe, a large fridge and aircon that worked a treat. There are also USB ports at each side of the bed. The room isn't luxurious but was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only things missing for me (husband wasn't bothered) were a mirror (full length or otherwise) and drawers. The only usable socket was in the bathroom but we managed. What really made this a lovely stay was Julia and her team. They were all lovely and looked after us well. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and couldn’t have picked better for a wonderful Sirmione/Lake Garda experience. All of the staff were very friendly and super helpful, and being a small hotel, it had a very relaxed feel, just what you would want. The location was far enough from the hustle and bustle of the old town, but within walking distance of everything that there is to see and do behind the castle walls. The pool was a great place to relax after a morning out, and whilst there wasn’t a vast choice of snacks, the pizzas were delicious. Some say the rooms are basic, but we thought them perfectly adequate, impeccably clean and also large in comparison to many hotels that we’ve stayed in in Italy (including 4*). The air conditioning did light up the room at night, but I would counter that by saying that we sleep in pitch black at home, so most rooms tend to be brighter than what we are used to. A lake view is nice, but we never really missed it as we were rarely in our room, better to be out and about. Overall a great find, and great value for money.

Just returned from this lovely hotel and wanted to share a few thoughts…. Spotlessly clean, I have very high standards and they were definitely met here. Breakfast was in a lovely air conditioned room with enough to get you through to lunch, bacon, scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, bread, fruit etc etc, great coffee and lovely friendly staff. Very good gluten free offering, a plate was brought to me with a selection of bread and cereal. Lovely! The pool is fabulous, never a rush for a sunbed, I was surprised they allow glass around the pool and was terrified I’d knock my drink over so just requested no glass in the end! (I’m clumsy) - no food allowed around the pool but there’s a lovely little area to sit and enjoy lunch in the shade. Not too much choice and I’d have liked some smaller snacks offered other than a big salad or a pizza when I just wanted a little lunch. Pool towels are supplied and you keep them for the duration of your holiday. Everyone works so hard at the hotel and in the temperatures we’ve had (high 30s) this is no mean feat. The owner is lovely and really cares that you’re having a great time. Our room….it was nice although not very much storage space or hangers, I like to unpack for the week and couldn’t really do so. There’s no safety deposit box in the room despite one being advertised, which I’m not used to. No mini bar as advertised and our fridge didn’t seem to be switched on which would have been nice but no matter. The air conditioning…..we didn’t think our was working properly but thought it was just struggling due to the heat so didn’t say anything….then after checkout saw someone fixing it! If in doubt, speak out! A five minute walk into Sirmione old town, fab location. No water is supplied in the rooms which I know isn’t advertised but if this is important to you then it matters. They sell reusable water bottles for €2 but you have to keep asking for water which I found a pain - In the end we bought our own in what seemed to be the only tiny food store in the old town, he also sells crisps etc, the road opposite the big square near Trattoria La Fiasca. Fab little hotel
