Just returned from a fabulous holiday at the hotel Maderno . Wonderful management and polite hospitality staff. Beautiful gardens and pool and outside restaurant. Nice breakfasts and pleasant rooms. Excellent location for ferry and good selection of restaurants on the strip quayside in Maderno. Lovely walks for miles along the lake. Our second visit to this hotel never fails to please 🙏 thank you

“Lovely Lake Garda”

Lovely staff in restaurant and nice food. Room ok but hard bed and shower.very small. Hotel all really clean.Pool.area very nice, but people using too many towels which they really didn't need and taking beds when they were gone for hours. Plenty of shade of you want it.

Honest review Stunning place , the views are breathtaking The rooms we got was at the back overlooking nothing with no balcony I hated not having a balcony to dry my clothes on and sit on ,the room was very small. The bed was rock solid but I asked for help with this and Daniel delivered straight away he put a soft mattress topper on. I don’t like how you can’t pay as you go for drinks and end up with the bill at the end of your stay , the waters are expensive so go round to market and pop them in your fridge. We was enjoying a lovely lay in one day when work men came in and turfed us out to put a new shower enclosure in then said we couldn’t use the shower until 10pm . There’s no music at all and nothing on evening in hotel or around it’s a very quiet town. The pool and view was amazing we loved it, felt very awkward though as felt you couldn’t make any noises . On a night we played cards and felt awkward. It’s a very quiet hotel Food , don’t bother ! What a load of rubbish. In fact we didn’t find any nice food even in the town. Ferry is a rip off 60 euro to go to torri and it was same sort of town. Come out of hotel and go left walk along right up and there is a bar and restaurant with some music and they sell chips. It’s honestly a very beautiful place but the long transfer and quiet area and food put us off. The staff at dinner service are lovely and bar staff. There’s no atmosphere

We went to this hotel last year and we enjoyed every aspect so we booked again this year. The Pool and the room was great again but the food had really gone downhill. They have opened a new restaurant outside the hotel (where residents were normally allowed to sit) and that seemed to be their prior… more

We went to this hotel last year and we enjoyed every aspect so we booked again this year. The Pool and the room was great again but the food had really gone downhill. They have opened a new restaurant outside the hotel (where residents were normally allowed to sit) and that seemed to be their priority. Last year we had nice salads for starters and a good choice of mains and lots of lovely puddings. This year they didn’t seem to even know what a salad was, mains were cold and boring and puddings were very small. We will not be going back next year.
