A real charmer just above the wonderful town of Menaggio. Jack and his entire family are super and make you feel like you are part of their family. A very nice breakfast buffet greeted us in the morning and we took advantage of his great Chef talent for superb evening meals. Parking on the premises and great views of Lake Como. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here and I plan to bring another group next year.

“Brilliant value for the solo traveller. Generous hosts.”

I liked the Adler hotel. First it offers great value for the single traveler with a single room at almost half price to a double. Very few hotels offer this. So full marks there! I liked the Adler hotel. First it offers great value for the single traveler with a single room at almost half price to a double. Very few hotels offer this. So full marks there! The room is comfortable with a good sized bathroom so you aren’t stuck in a broom cupboard. Giacomo and his wife are warm hearted hosts. I like boutique hotels run and loved by the owners. Don’t be put off by what appears to a long walk on a dangerous road to the town. Giacomo will guide you to a delightful path on the old railway line which avoids the road. Wasn’t able to sample the pool as it was a little wet and too much else to do! I also recommend the dinner, cooked by Giacomo himself.

Upon arrival at Hotel Adler, the hotel manager and his wife was so friendly, welcoming us to the hotel. The room in which we booked in, a family room, was absolutely world class. On our way going to the restaurant in the hotel, we were being treated to a fantastic view of Lake Como (breathtaking - words fail to describe the beauty of that view, even photos cannot do it justice). The service, the food was exceptional which made my stay at the Hotel memorable. Even though we could not speak the local language, the hotel manager and his wife made it easier for us to understand them. Will never forget this wonderful place and sure hope to come back again soon... so much to do, so little time! Thank you Hotel Adler, for creating memorable trip for me.

My Daughter and I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Adler. It was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. The owners/family were the nicest and most friendly hosts I’ve encountered. It had more of a B&B vibe. Our room with balcony had an incredible view of Lake Como. It was an excellent base to explore Lake Como. You absolutely need a vehicle if you stay here to get to the center of Menaggio and to visit the best of the area and ferries. Highly recommend staying here !
